Some solvent loss, havent done the exact calc, but less much hand cramping.
Why solvent loss? Evaporation due to negative pressure?

If yes I guess probably avoidable if reducing the suction power

yes, vacuum in the vial approaches vapor pressure of the excipients. Raoult's law.

I'd give the gory breakdown but will avoid "spamming" the thread. xD.
Then it's not a good method, if one lose BA/BB it could lead to crashing issue or sterility issue unless one can calculate exactly hosw much is lost and adjust accordingly

I was sharing another method the other poster asked about. Just for clarity not suggesting this is what OP is doing.

I'll let those interested estimate the solvent loss. A couple % worse case without boring everyone.

Yeah sure I know.

Yeah it was expensive but I think these vials are better than me autoclaving and flow hood filling the vials. Maybe I'll switch over but the money isn't that big of a difference when all is said and done it's more of a time thing at that point
No no I like your setup, but If ypu have a flow hood you don't care if the decapper lift the stopper slightly, as the sterility is maintained assured by the flowhood.

I wouldn't autoclave vials etc. Even if you do thousands of vials volume is still better to buy sterilized sealed one, decrimp under flow hood and fill with a bottle dispenser and then recrimp it if one has that kind of volume.

Autoclaving vials is fucking ass

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. All in all I paid around $3k just for vials I figured these were better because people were saying sterile vials were still having specs of dust floating in them and these are sealed so they should be good to go and after inspecting them they were.

The other decappers would scratch and or displace the stopper from the vial this one keeps it untouched, every 50 vials or so one comes out and it just gets thrown away.

Yeah RTF vials coming from China are many times sterile but still dirty inside. RTF vials USA made maybe better but expensive.

Yeah what I was saying is if you get a flow hood in the future you don't even have to worry of that 1 stopper out of 50, because even if it gets lifted is still in a sterile environment so you just put it back and that's it

Yeah 10ml syringe by hand. Oil pulled to 10.2, rest air. Super easy super fast. tried 60ml with caulk gun but it took so fucking long. I did like 1.2k vials in like 16 hours one day the rest I finished up the day after in a few hours
1200 vials? Holy fucking shit, my hand hurts thinking of that, however you were filtering low concentration oils so that is indeed easier.

Try filtering test D 500 xD
Report back.

I don't think I'd try test d 500. Test c 250 takes like 3x the time tren a 100 does
