Most rational explanation for hospitalization for people who found those microdoses of Reta effective “for months”, would be getting Sema instead of Reta. That’s the only compound that would cause that kind of reaction at 1-2mg, in a highly GLP sensitive person. I know a similar Sema instead of Reta thing has happened before. Either that or it’s a much higher dose of Reta than the vial is supposed to have. Or they miscalculated badly.
Of course this is exactly the kind of shit that will eventually bring lots of unwanted attention, and the enforcement to the scene.
