First time homebrewer... When brewing Test Cyp, how significant will there be a smell? i probably should have asked long before investing as much as i have but ill make it work either way. I dont want my neighbors thinking im running a meth lab or anything. can probably just mix a bucket of pinesol and mop my floors to mask it but im curious.

No smell only if you forget the oil on the hot plate and it's strat to make smoke.

This is good news. at minimum ill use a still air box, but im seriously weighing the pros and cons of getting a proper laminar flow hood for 400$

For personal use I will buy the cheapest hot plate available like 20$ and some glass baker,a glass rod and that's all.

it is for personal use but im a bit of a stickler for perfection so i am picking up the HS5C as recommended in one of the pinned posts. its on amazon right now for 143 on sale
