Recomp to be biggest dad in town

Hey Meso, 5'11" 38 years old husband and father of 2. Big into lifting when i was in my 20's while serving overseas. Lost my way for a few years with drugs and alcohol, pretty common story i see. 5 Years back i got sober and i got into training again for 2 years, build up a solid base that i once had when i was younger sitting at a nice 220lbs. Then i had what i thought was heart issues, come to find out it was anxiety induced panic attacks. Went thru a ton of heart tests and cardiology said i had a strong and healthy heart. Ended up being put on an ssri, blew up to 265lbs. this spring i had enough and got off ssri's and started dieting and training. Incorporated self TRT and low dose Tirz and slowly but surly by end of june i was floating in the 230's and felt great.

I decided at that time i wanted to do a small run of 400mg test cyp for 10 weeks and added 40mg var for my last 4 weeks, arimidex on hand if needed but bloods continue to indicate i'm a low aromatizer and a really good responder to test, though my lipids took a hit on the var. Wow did i feel good though. back to trt after that and cruze at 125mg a week.

Right now i'm just dieting and maintaining recomp at about 230lbs which honestly i like this area and still losing inches off my waist.

Training is am cardio about 4-5 days a week and afternoon with a PPL routine 3 on one off and leg splits quads/hammies. I incorporate a lot of kettlebell work for my warmups.

Diet currently is carbs 150ish protein 250 and fats 100-120, oats, greens, meat, rice or quinoa, eggs 4-5x a day

Goal is 15-18% BF as i feel that is a good range i feel i could maintain for some time

Thoughts of a test/eq run in the near future

Sorry for the long intro but glad to be hear and learn what i can

Keep a close eye on e2 when adding eq. It acts as an ai in some. A few months ago I went from 200mg sustanon per week to 100mg sustanon & 100mg eq. Kept regular nolva dose of 20mg/day. Crashed my e2 and felt like hammered shit. Low e2 is way worse than high in my opinion. Now at 100/100 and nothing else. Feel great plus holding less water than test only.

Why are you taking drugs without getting your food right first?

Don't put the racing fuel in before mounting the tires dude

What does your lipid panel look like?
What's wrong with macros? I'm losing inches off my waist. I'm on 140mg test and 2mg tirz currently. I'm not planning to cycle for a while so i'm not understanding your 2nd question, it was a thought not a decision. Lipids were kinda shit 6 weeks ago HDL 40 and LDL 134.

How close to your Anavar run was that lipid panel?

Would drop those fats down to 50 - 60 g and replace with carbs. Protein looks ok. So that 400 test with anavar cycle already happened? What BF were you at that time? It's really not a great idea (but people will do it anyway) to mess around with anything more than real TRT if your BF is much over 15%. You really do need to be in shape to get the most out of PEDs. They don't perform well, and lead to worsened side effects, in a milieu of excess BF.

Have you considered a GLP-1 like Tirz or Reta? That with HRT will lean you out plenty and once you/re 15% or less you can consider doing something more than Just the HRT. This isn't a criticism. I've made the mistakes I'm trying to advise you against.
My average on fats are actually about 70, some days a touch heavier with a good charge of red meat, but i can adjust it down a touch. I am on 2mg tirz and 140 test. Yes the test/var cycle was not worth it imo at my body fat but i was eager to give it a go, as well that's in the past. I did feel great though honestly.

Like i said the test/eq is just a thought, i have no plans to run up until i get my bf down. I appreciate any pointers that the fourm gives, always learning

post 2 weeks about early for an ldl rebound i get it, going to do another round of bloods with upcoming physical. i looked back at my doc's blood orders and i have been in the ldl 130 range for the past 5-6 years. i have a telehealth call with her to see what else i can work on.

Since the start of trt in the summer i added fish oil, citrus bergamot, psyllium husk, mag, zinc, nac, tudca, coq10, probiotics, digestive enzymes.

BP is always between 116/60 - 126/70

Reason why i joined this fourm is because the one i was on kinda started feeling crooked to me recently

Would def get on a statin then, especially if you plan to keep using androgens. rosuvastatin 5 mg or pitavastatin 2 mg, titrate up as needed, then consider adding ezetemibe 10 mg daily.

talking options with doc today
Search this forum and google to learn about Lovaza. It's a prescription omega epa/dha suppliment.

I told my Dr. I wanted to use a fish oil supplement but that I didn't trust over the counter and preferred a prescription for one. Costs me like a buck.12 at cvs with my insurance.

Using that in conjunction with a satin might be beneficial for you

So she said clinically she doesn't have any concerns at the level my ldl is at. My cholesterol ratio is within range and she said my overall risk factor is less than 1.5%. Only thing she recommended was red yeast rice to add to supplements

Nah, fuck that. Do what the bro in the forum told you to, because he is an expert in BS.
