Defiant Pharma (US Domestic)

Im definitely intrigued by all of this DHB love. Haha. Week one of my DLP Tren experiment is going super smooth. I am showing the compound respect by using a small dose (50mg a week). Going to try 75mg this week, wish me luck! Haha.

Just super confused. I just got into MCT with a kit order....the PIP is unbearable and i get a golf ball size lump at injection site, i have never had the mildest discomfort with GSO. I looked up on Reddit and many ppl share similar " sides" with MCT, why would anyone choose that?
Some people have issues with MCT, some people have issues with GSO. If your MCT was brewed in China, it likely isn't high quality MCT, and could be mixed with low quality oils, and it would likely have EO/ethyl oleate, which some people react poorly to. Or, you just might not get along well with MCT, and you'll have to avoid it. For people that don't have reactions to MCT, it's nice and thin so it flows easier, more easily suspends higher mg/ml of certain compounds, and has an extended shelf life when compared to most other carrier oils due to being fully saturated. It has a lot going for it, but if you have that much pip from it, it's obviously not the one for you.

A man of the people, I can respect that (even though GSO is an abomination, and heresy unto our lord and savior, MCT).
I mean it would be nice to just have to deal with one carrier oil.

Maybe I can get them on board with MCT. It would make things easier for me no doubt.

After brewing with it, I do prefer it all around. Easier to filter due to fluidity and it is aesthetically pleasing with some of the lighter colored compounds.

Yeah fair point, definitely possible it's just low quality China crap, i never trusted oils from China but during the shortage I got desperate. I just know i tried 3x and it was like childbirth pains each time so i just tossed them away and swore off MCT since, i should probably try from a legit source and give it another shot

Yeah, I do 2mls in my delts all the time with other compounds with no issues at all. I just like to dilute the DHB because I am PIP sensitive with a lot of things.
What exactly does “PIP” feel like? I only pin test subq and L carn IM and so i’m not exactly sure i’ve experienced real PIP yet lol

I do get a sore feeling from 1ml of L carn for a few hours but i’m not exactly sure i’d describe it as pain, it’s more of a sore feeling that goes away after a few hours

I wish I could get on with MCT but I can't, just leaves me with a lump every time so I only buy GSO. And these were quality domestic MCT oils, just don't agree with me

Perfect — here’s what’s happening under the microscope when you inject something dissolved in MCT oil vs. grapeseed oil into muscle tissue:

1. Immediately After Injection (Minutes–Hours)

MCT Oil

  • Because MCTs are less viscous and more polar, they disperse more rapidly through muscle fibers.
  • This rapid diffusion can disrupt cell membranes and slightly irritate local tissue.
  • Under a microscope, you’d often see:
    • Tiny oil droplets scattered between muscle fibers
    • Mild edema (fluid accumulation)
    • Early neutrophil infiltration (the first immune responders)

Grapeseed Oil

  • The larger, more hydrophobic triglycerides stay as a localized oil depot, forming a small “pool.”
  • The release is slow, so surrounding muscle tissue isn’t exposed to a sudden change in chemical environment.
  • Microscopically:
    • A single, well-contained oil pocket
    • Minimal edema
    • Few or no immune cells initially

2. The Inflammatory Phase (1–3 Days)

MCT Oil

  • The body recognizes the dispersed oil droplets as foreign lipid material, and macrophages begin to engulf them.
  • Some macrophages fuse into multinucleated giant cells, typical of a foreign body granulomatous reaction.
  • You’d see:
    • Macrophages and lymphocytes clustering around droplets
    • Small-scale fibrosis beginning (collagen deposition)
    • Occasional mild tissue necrosis if injection was large or near capillaries

Grapeseed Oil

  • The depot remains mostly intact. The hormone slowly diffuses out; macrophages respond mildly, if at all.
  • The immune system tends to “wall off” the depot rather than attack it.
  • Microscopically:
    • A thin fibrous capsule forming around the oil pocket
    • Sparse inflammatory cells
    • Healthy surrounding myocytes

3. Resolution Phase (3–14 Days)

MCT Oil

  • Most of the oil is absorbed quickly, and the immune activity resolves fast — but because of its early irritation, there may be transient fibrosis or scarring at frequent injection sites.
  • Microscopically:
    • Residual fibroblast activity
    • Mild collagen deposition (tiny scars)
    • Few remaining macrophages with lipid droplets (“foamy macrophages”)

Grapeseed Oil

  • Slower absorption, but minimal tissue trauma overall.
  • Any inflammatory response resolves smoothly without significant scarring.
  • Microscopically:
    • Clean muscle tissue with little to no fibrosis
    • Minimal immune residue

So, MCT oil isn’t “bad”, but its biophysical properties make it more likely to provoke a transient inflammatory response — especially with repeated injections or higher volumes.
Would you like me to include how benzyl benzoate or benzyl alcohol (often added as solvents) influence this inflammatory reaction too? Those compounds are actually a big part of why injection pain varies between formulations.

I do 3ml delt injections when in deep off-season but idk about adding DHB just yet into a 3ml injection will play with dosing first lol
