Dutasteride Source EU

Hello everyone,

I am currently using Dutasteride at 1mg eod, it's from SSA, but since that's down i've only been able to find expensive brand name dut being sold.

Anyone here have a source for dut? Looking for the cheapest possible, doesn't matter wether it's generic or pharma.The cheapest i currently have is BG Pharma at ~30€ per 15mg , which is too much. Any cheaper recommendation is greatly appreciated by me and my hair.

I was in the same situation as you and could not find a source other than bg pharma and europeanpharmaceuticals. For european pharma, they sell the avodart for €24, a slight saving, but the shipping is more expensive.

In a real pinch when the SSA tabs run out, you could run 0.5mg of avodart every five days, which was shown in the 2006 Olsen study to be marginally more effective than 5mg of finasteride per day.

That would give you reasonable hair protection and make a single box of avodart go ~5 months (150 days)

My thinking is, run what you can at the budget you're comfortable with, knowing that 0.5mg every 5 days is still effective.

Not the answer you want but hope its of some help incase you can't find a source.

If you can get to Spain, you can buy the stuff OTC no problem. €7 for a box of 30 0.5mg TEVA is what I was able to get it for.

You could answer this for yourself with 20 minutes of reading in the underground. Instead, you come here like a lazy bum with your hat in your hand, asking for someone else to spoonfeed you the info you're too lazy or stupid to figure out for yourself.

Idk where you get this info from but it is not OTC, spain is not some 3rd world country, in fact they are very strict when it comes to drugs in pharmacies, right now you´ll need a prescription even for ibuprofen, also it is also not 7 eur, it is 20 eur plus and you will need a prescription, images below are from Idoctus, the most popular med related app used by healthcare professionals in spain

I've only started about 1 month ago, all good. Just the normal stuff like that i'm starting to shed hair and my scalp is itchy sometimes.

Why would you need to buy this on UGL? It’s literally a drug that they prescribe for male pattern baldness. Go to your GP and get a prescription.

its not a fortune 1mg x100pills 15€ vs 60x 0.5mg pills pharma Avodart 33€
But prescriptions for 2.5mg will be hard to get

Have you seen any significant sides from Dutasteride personally?

I'm on 1mg a day Dut, honestly don't see much sides.
There's also the difference in absorption between tablets and gelcaps. I'm using tablets now which has supposedly lower absorption. Planning to switch in future.

Yes But 2.5mg vs 0.5mg is 80% vs 50% DHT SCALP REDUCTION whereas it was only marginally better at suppressing serum DHT (96% vs. 92%).


Finasteride 1mg supress 70% serum DHT and Like 40% scalp DHT
