Trying this for the first time

So I took the dive into learning how to Bitcoin. Read all I could on here and other places. There is too much info to take it all in. At least for me. So I started with Coinbase then opened an Exodus wallet. Have not done transfer yet but I now have a way to buy and a wallet to put it into. So I have my hands on some. Next is following the other recommended protocols. I don't plan on being some guru just enough to get by for the purpose I need it for. So far so good.

Same. Downloaded exodus too. I liked what others said about it. Gonna give it a try after reading here and watching all the YouTube videos. Like the idea of deleting the wallet after each transactions too.

Are you going to get a second wallet also? I've read where its recommended to do something like 4 transfers. I've also read the code, or whatever the digital asset has, can be tracked no matter. I'm missing why it matters so much.

Honestly in my opinion is people have bigger fish to try than small bitcoin transactions. I use a transfer from kraken to exodus to vendor and it’s not a problem

I have no experience to speak from but that's what I'm leaning to. I know some talk about opsec but perhaps they are also much bigger fish. Thanks for your input on this.
