MOTS-C Thread: Not Garbage Peptide, For Once

Wanted to create an aggregate MOTS-C experiences thread.

To my surprise, I seem to have found a pep that does something noticeable, for once.

(Incredibly skeptical of peptides/supplements + anything that's not a hormone, in general.)

My experience:
MOTS-C in doses of 2-5mg, taken ~30m pre-workout, gives an immense work-capacity and endurance boost/fatigue-reducing effect.

I've used Cardarine + GW0742 at varying dosages, neither of which seemed to have any noticeable effect on endurance/fatigue.
MOTS-C, on the other hand, does what I expected those compounds, or something like EPO, would do.

My rest period is 3m. With MOTS-C, after 2m I generally feel ready to do another set -- whereas generally even after 3m I feel a small amount of fatigue.

And the most noticeable effect: After 1hr in the gym, at higher doses like 4-5mg, it feels like I just walked in the door still.
(I take every set to failure or 1-2 RIR. So 1hr in the gym is enough to wreck whatever I'm working that day.)

Curious what other people have to say about MOTS-C, and dosing protocols.
It's cheap enough that I do 2mg ED PWO, and 4-5mg on leg days.

I agree with your assessment of MOTS-C. Ran it at 5mg per day for 4 weeks sub-q for my first run. Clean energy and improved endurance.

From the beginning I did have the common site injection reaction that became worst over time. My body developed a stronger reaction the longer I took it though. It went from a itchy bump right after injection to a itchy welt that lasted weeks.

Despite that I am going to give it another try. Going IM this time and will adjust the dose as needed while reducing the frequency to see what the lowest dose I can use to get the same effect.

Yeah, I have noticed it's the only pep I've ever injected that gives a burning/itching/stinging sensation briefly.

Doesn't bother me much, but my wife pinned it once and said it hurt so bad it felt like she'd been stung by a bee. Now won't try it again, lol.

Ran it for 10 weeks at 10mg pre-workout, which also overlapped with an 8-week cycle of Tren (which is about to end). I don't know what to believe about degradation, so I just used entire vials each time (IM to avoid the irritation). Really seemed to help mitigate Tren's aerobic/anaerobic hit.

Yep, for me it felt exactly like a mosquito bite for about 30 mins after injection. Turned into welts under the skin that itched just as bad for a week. I think IM will fix it or maybe more dilution when reconstituting. Either way I'll continue to use if I can eliminate the injection reaction.

taking a break right now, but ran 2.0-2.5 eod for about 6 weeks and it was solid. i pinned it in the AM, but it provided good sneaky energy for PM workouts. i’ve been on a high volume routine for several months now and realized right away that i wasn’t getting winded at the hour mark. i literally have to force myself to leave the gym because the exhaustion doesn’t kick in like normal.

the *only* side that i have felt is injection site itching that’ll often last for a day or two.

I tried Mots-c at 10mg a day for it’s potential to increase fat loss or have a positive shift in my metabolism as a natural.

I used it during my PCT, however I did not note any fat burning.

But come to think of it, during a pct where my test was at 100ng and I could push a 2.5hr workout, full push day + quads (4 sets of pendulum + 3 sets leg extensions) combined, and most strength was maintained during a pct (pretty impressive imo).

Working out consistently for 8 weeks without feeling tired or too fatigued makes me re-think how effective Mots-c might have been.

Coming from another skeptic like myself, I might give it another go. Specially when I’m going high tren or in an aggressive cut.

I always get that sexy sting, but fades away an hour into the workout. It’s like a welcome home kiss.

Looks like low dose is the way to go.
Do you find this better than Cardarine?

i bet when i move up to the 40mg vials, it’ll hit different. i’ve only used the 10mg vials with 2.5cc bw.
I just used 10mg vials, used 0.5ml and inject it 15mins later.

I did a big natty experiment when I first discovered Chinese Vendors. I used to buy a vial of 12mg reta for $140 (I considered cheap compared to the other US based sources as well at the time). I had to ration my reta at 2mg. I’m the same guy who maxed out reta to 15mg in a couple of months.

Tried: AOD-9604, Cardarine, Mk677, Tesa, Ipa, CJC, GHK-CU, SR9009, IGF-1 LR3 (twice natty and with gh enhanced), MOTS-C, L-Carnitine 1g a day, and maybe some more I forgot.

All at the highest dose I can do.

My consensus at the time was:
- Fuck all that, GH is cheaper and better.
- GHK-CU helped me to reduce my loose skin, albeit wasn’t night and a day but I’d like to believe it helped, but after 14 weeks you milk any effects ut has.
- MOTS-C: Possibly might come back to it due to recovery, as I never thought of endurance/recovery until I got tren and did a deep ass cut.

Never tried SLU but nothing convinced me it isn’t a waste of time.

MotsC is a pep I'm for sure going to use when I'm older just for the longevity and fatigue reducing aspect of it.

i’m not sure how long you have to go until you are older? but think of the advances in mainstream peptides that have literally revolutionized bio hacking in the past 5 years? past 10 years?

keep your options open. there will be advances that make MOTS-C look like sterile water.

VigorousSteve made a video about 5 months ago about MOTS-c and getting anaphylactic shock from it.

Never heard about that kind of side effect from this. Anyone has experiences of getting anaphylactic shock from MOTS-c?

my experience is only on a cutting cycle, absolutely increased energy in the gym, both cardio and lifting, I did early morning injection with L-Carn, HGH, low dose yohimbine and caffeine. Mots-c most definitely had an affect but I also feel like it had an effect later in the day when it came to hypertrophy training

I don't know about these mitochondria energy drugs man... they work 100% but the research is limited and we don't know if it causes damage to your natural levels long term. They scare me because something so effective for sure comes with side effects later on.

it would be nice if there was more anecdotal and published data out there about it. when i was taking a deep dive into mots-c, i found that dosages recommended were all over the place. everything from .5mg twice weekly to 10mg 3 times a week. and forget any help from ChatGPT, it seems to give a different answer any time i was up against a wall.
