Basic/Affordable/Comprehensive Bloodwork

Got a reply from GoodLabs, they said and I quote: “Yes. It’s just limited to your first order.” Well, that’s heartbreaking news. Guess my 20% glory days are officially over, time to start a new account under my cat’s name.
You just need to post your referral and hopefully someone uses it. Likely people just use the most recent code they find in this thread.

I guess once a lot of people sign up the new users will slow down and the discounts will dry up.

I probably have about 30 different email addresses. I could create another identity, or several, with Goodlabs. Due to my employer having an open enrollment fair, I'll be able to get the following tests for free on Wednesday: comprehensive metabolic; hemoglobin A1C; lipids; and complete blood count.

Some places like Vitalant will give you a few small panel when donating. Test; free test; blood type (which is wild) and I think A1C etc.

A good way to benefit if you’re already needing to donate for BP purposes.

You can get as many 20 percent discounts as you want by referring people. I believe you can buy tests in advance up to a year so you don't need to worry about the referall discounts expiring within 1 month.

This is true confirmed with good labs. (the 1 year part)

So far I have only used LabCorp through DrSays.

Got my first lab from quest through goodlabs on Friday.

So far the experience is so much better. Every time a test comes through I get a text from goodlabs followed by an email from quest.

With DrSays I heard nothing until all the results were in. I could get early results my messaging the chatbox, but they would get annoyed at me after a while.

I think I'm a quest customer now. I know the hormones are going to lag, but I came in prepared for that.

So guys I’m gonna use GoodLabs for a specific test I couldn’t get my insurance to do. Apparently after contacting support I can request to cancel a lab and get a refund? Is that true?

Asking just incase they don’t let me in NJ.

Managed to do a E2 and an Enhanced E2 test.
I believe Enhanced E2 just means Ultra-senstiive e2.

So will have results for both, going to be interesting.

Loving how insurance paid for these.

Edit: looked at the exact lab order and it was Ultra-Sensitive
Update for yall.

Max out of pocket was $50 but I ain’t even paying that, trust me.

Only test I paid for was one from goodlabs and quest allowed me to do it even tho I’m NY/NJ based (love mexican/asian docs <3)

How are you getting insurance to cover bloods??
If ur insurance is strong and can cover preventative labs, you have 2 main options.

- Urgent clinic and ask for routine labs (you can get most routine labs)

- HelixVM, you pay a $1.99 fee and have to go back and forth on getting the specific labs u want but they eventually give it to you

My coverage includes an annual comprehensive as well.

I've said this elsewhere, but it bears repeating -
Keep your insurance out of it if possible. In the US, if they pay for it, they can look at the results. If they see something they don't like (ie taking massive amounts of illegal AAS), they now have a record of it, and may use it to refuse coverage on any major issue you have in the future.

And plan your yearly checkup bloods around a cruise.
