Rate My Fat Loss Protocol.

I'm certain this has been addressed countless times over, but what is considered a "weight loss dosage"?

I started 2025 at 187 and in excess of 25% body fat. I'm down to 167 and having improved all of my lifts substantially, probably in the vicinity of 20% body fat now (plus or minus a percent I'd guess).

Short story long, I started tirzepatide at 2.5mg for 4 weeks, and weeks 5 &6 (current week) I'm on 3.3mg.
Did you begin to feel hungry around day 5 when at 2.5mg?

I started on 2mg and was aiming for every 7 days, but I ended up taking another 2mg on day 5 as I noticed my mind thinking about food in a way I hadn't in the 5 days prior. Subtle, but it was back.

Today is day 5 again for me, and I feel fine, I think... though I did eat already today, so kinda had to tell. I guess I'll know later tonight

Around day five, the food noise comes back. I use these last two days to refocus my self control and model the eating habits I had for the last five days. It helps build the psychological control and self discipline needed for the future. I stayed with 2.5mg until it felt like it wasn't as effective. That was around week 4. I bumped up to 5mg and it hit me like a freight train. Even the thought of eating was repulsive for the first few days. All the same, I practiced the self discipline I was building and forced myself to eat sensible portions. It's been an exercise on both ends- eating when I don't want to, and not eating when I do want to. I don't change my dose until the food noise is overwhelming.

That's a great idea!
I did briefly consider that recently, but I guess I kicked the can down the road in terms of getting to work on the psychological side of things.

It's a really good opportunity to work on it really as the GLP holds your hand, and it is only 1-2 days.

Curious to hear any educated responses on this, but do we actually have an accurate understanding of how long these GLP's last while reconstituted?

It was my understanding that we'd really want to have it used by 1 month. Anyone able to shed some light on this? Is it significantly blunted by 1.5 or 2 months?

For the first three weeks I was fine all throughout at 2.5, but in week 4 hunger crept up at day 5. Hunger seems to creep in around day 5/6 at 3.3mg

Unless you're getting some oddball amps, even at 2.5mg a reconstituted vial will only last a month so it should be a non-issue.

To that effect, don't reconstitute en masse.

I can get all sorts of mg vials.
The larger, the more value for money, but they will last longer than a month.

I am trying to find the sweet spot

no educated response because theres no reading material available for it.

running tirz/reta both vials stopped having an affect at around 2 months 2.5months mark and i needed to inject a little more.

i usually toss vials out after 3 months

So i want to agree with @Ghoul on GLPs.

I would just start with Reta/Tirz and dial.the dosage up when im hitting a plateau.

Additionally you can combine Reta with Tirz (when hitting a bplateau) as for example Tirz is said to habe a better hunger supressive effect while Reta is generally better tolerated and therefore often can be run at higher dosages without sides.

If you want go add something else i would add some GH. Best for fatloss would be 3x daily 1,5IU (4,5IU in total).

It seems that most of GH fatloss effect is reached at 1,5 IU (this doenst mean that higher dosages wont result in better results but thats the best bang for your buck) and keeping stable levels over the day is way more important for fatloss.

If you dont want to inject 3x daily you could also do 2x 1,5IU but little advise: get an insulin injecting pen fron Alibaba for 10$ tigether witz a buch of fillable cartiges and this will be a lot less pain in the ass. I also have a electrical insulin pen cooler from alibaba aswell which keeps my peptides cool during the day so i can take them with me to work)

Normally insulin sensitivity would be an concern with GH levesl during the whole day but i this wont be a problem in combination Reta/Tirz.

When you have lost the majority of your fat and you reached stubburn fat meaning viszeral fat, i would switch from tge HGH to Tesamorelin.

All this beeing sad, the GH isnt necessary and you will have very good results with only Reta/Tirz

I may very well do something very similar to this actually.

I already had Tesa/Ipa on the way before people suggested that it was overkill - so that going to be used at some point.

Regarding GH, I would like to try this for the more general health benefits, including sleep. So for that reason alone I'm probably going to try it at some point. If it could also aid in fat loss then great, but that's pretty much going to be a bonus.

Perhaps what I might do is go with Reta alone for a while and ramp that up to the 8mg range to get more of the Glucagon effects. If I start having any appetite suppression issues (which i'd be surprised by), I will consider adding some Tirz.

After a while that typical early rapid fat loss should slow down a bit, then that might be a good place to add the GH. I'd hope to be able to identify a change in the rate of fat loss from the GH addition, but if not I'll still be reaping a number of other benefits.

The Tesa/Ipa can be used later on. Perhaps when I have stopped the GH and am tapering down the Reta dose.

Something like that anyway. For now the important thing is to just keep doing what I am doing on Reta alone. Ramp it up, and improve quality of exercise. We'll figure out the rest then

Stick with Tirz and GH if you want a little extra. I started at 350 lbs about 18 months ago. I'm 240 now but completely different look. I was on Tirz for 2 years. Zero cardio but weight loss was steady at about 2 lbs a week. See attached photo. Fat pic was Jan 2024. Second pic is last month. Diet was 100% dialed in. I never deviated from it. I saw this while looking through meso media tab and had to stop by and tell you: You look awesome dude. Well done!

Brother... What a transformation...
Well done on that mate! Looking great!
Hyper impressive!

Did you have any/much loose skin to deal with?

I've got Retatrutide - I had it when I started this thread, but it's been very effective for me so far (-33lbs so far). I finished the Tesa/Ipamorelin 2 days ago and started the GH at 2 iu first night, and then 3 iu the 2nd night (lastnight). Going to try 4 iu tonight as I want to see where my CTS symptoms begin.

My shoulder is still pretty bad still and keeping me from lifting - started TB500 and BPC about 10 days ago. Hopefully that clears it up so I can leverage my TRT/GH use.

Thank you. A little extra skin around the lower stomach. Will definitely need surgery at some point but overall not as much loose skin as you would think for the weight I lost. I do believe the GH helped with the skin elasticity. I'm running stupid doses of GH now and the transformation is ridiculous.

I use Reta now for the health benefits but GLP's stop working for me appetite wise last year.

Thank you brother! Consistency is key and king. I have friends that bitch they can't get in shape and I say lets go to the gym. Their response is I'm tired, I worked all day. MF last summer I was working 18 hour days 7 days a week and still went to the gym. If someone wants it bad enough they don't make excuses they make results.

Here you go brother. Some inspiration photos. The dad bod pic is Dec 2023. The second photo jacked to more jacked there are 6 months between photos. I'm sorry the fat pic above is Jan 2023 not 2024. So the entire transformation is about 2 years now.

Here are the the high points I can give. KIS. Keep is simple. Pick a GLP, pick a PED if you want to go down that route, one compound only is all you need now pick a dose and stick with it, pick a GH dose and stick with it.

DIet, 5-6 meals a day. Find your macros. Eat the same exact meals everyday. Don't deviate. Once your diet is really dialed in and you commit to it within 4-6 weeks you're going to start seeing real changes. After a few months you'll literally look like a different person.

Training- pick a split you like and stick with it.

Consistency- This is the key to it all. Do the same shit every day, week, month, and year. Get back to me in 18 months when you're jacked and have 25 years olds asking you out. LOL I'm 50 and the girls that ask me out now you wouldn't believe it. I don't lol

Good to hear! I'm taking Tretinion too, topically on the abdomen. Skin is peeling, so clearly I'm getting accelerated remodeling. Fingers crossed it makes a difference.

What was your GH protocol throughout the fatloss?

Lastnight was my 3rd night of GH and I went with 4 iu. Started on 2 iu, then 3 iu on second night. I'll consider adding a morning dose later to leverage my fasting until 7pm

I was using 4 IU's when I started. Stayed at that dose for about a year. I'm up to 15IU's daily now but PED's have increased also. At 15IU's a day I'm putting on almost a pound a day now even if I'm in a deficit.

Don't over complicate the dosing. Pick a dose and do it at night before bed. At your current weight you're probably diabetic? This is the safest way to take GH if you have elevated BG. No need to split it. The minutiae only really applies once you've hit higher levels of training and body composition. At this point you're a big boy and need to loose the weight first. Focus on diet and training. PED are secondary at this point.

Haha, good on ya mate!
Tripping over 25 year olds with daddy issues :D
Livin' the dream!

As I put on so much of the fat so quickly, I didnt really have the time to become diabetic. I was on the cusp of pre-diabetes in Feb, but with recent bloods I have improved my HbA1c a little - so looks like I've managed to dodge that bullet.

I wasn't going to split the 4iu's, I was going to add an additional dose in the am since I fast until 7pm most days, but for now I will sit tight until I confirm a new source.

If you started at 350, at what weight did you add the PED's? I am currently 9 months into TRT, and am waiting to improve my bloods a bit more before I tweak my Test upwards. I have a blood clotting condition, so I want to drop at least 100lbs before I consider jacking T up to supraphysiologic levels.

I started TRT at the full 350. Once I hit 300 I started full cycles along with weight-loss. You CAN lose fat and gain muscle at the same time if you have enough body-fat to supply the calories needed for muscle synthesis. PED's just make it that much easier.
