I started asking more than 48 hours after payment to gary. Not like I harassed him. But yeah since yesterday I started asked everyday, followed someone advice here. Thats just kinda weird that half (or more, i dont even know) of people since to get their track id in less than 24 and the other half have nothing since AT least thursday. Usually thats not how you operate when you are overwhelmed. But hey i'll try every other day now.

Im in the Thursday order no tracking crew. Asked last night for the first time. Probably will ask again here in a bit before it gets too late over in China.

You’re right to be asking at this stage.
I was just sharing my own experience as another data point. It is odd how some receive theirs almost immediately while others wait much longer.

Cavan replied earlier in the thread pretty staunchly claiming they were absolutely not the same outfit. Despite the literal same price lists, shipping location, response times, etc.
I mean it is possible it's just two people with the exact access to the same distributor. But I like to think GGB is run by Cavan during Ambien induced sleepwalking episodes.

Yea they get pissed when you associate them with each other.
They are the same vendor, or at least 2 shells of a hidden company.
He's probably going to quote me and make noise.

Had anyone heard from cavan since Thursday? I messaged asking about if certain things were in stock to order, he sent me an updated price list and then hasnt replied since.

Guessing hes just swamped. Usually pretty prompt with replying but ive sent a couple messages trying to order and they haven't even been read. Must be all the dudes sweating getting a tracking number.
Pro tip. Make a fedex account, you'll find out it shipped before they even send you tracking.

That's good advice all around. I have informed delivery, a FedEx account, and a UPS account and have literally never asked a vendor for tracking. If they give me one on their own that's cool. But 99% of the time I know before they tell me.
I think he ignores customers who have already ordered or who ask too many questions. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to keep up. Besides, anyone who waits for a response and texts him again, lands at the bottom of the waiting list.

Ok with all the questions lately I reached to Cavan to get some clarification:
Question: After payment, when will customers receive tracking information for shipments from the US and China?
Answer: I will notify each customer individually of the timeframe for their order, and they can only place their order after confirming and accepting it.
Shipping from China requires a three-business-day waiting period.
Question: Will shipments from China be delayed due to the upcoming holiday? If so, when will shipments resume?
Answer: Holiday shipments will definitely be delayed, and will resume on October 9th.
(China Holiday starts 10/1 to 10/8)
Question: Are there currently any quantity limits for items shipped from the US and China?
Answer: Some products have restrictions.
Question: Is the package weight an estimate?
Answer: The weight is an estimate, as this is an international shipment.

if he answered every “tracking yet?” message, he’d never actually ship anything
That said, it wouldn’t kill him to set clearer expectations upfront. A simple “tracking usually goes out within X days” would save him 90% of these questions
