I keep replying to you, not because I’m targeting you specifically,but know there are other with the same opinions and you seem to be the only one articulating some good points.You want high visibility for everything you do. It’s about you and your agendas.
In order to effect any change there has to be visibility. Without visibility there would be no incentive for vendors to make changes/improvements. Keeping things visible also encourages other members, especially new ones, to look and scrutinize more regarding the safety of these products.
I don’t see anything as a waste of time or resources if it gets the community talking and thinking about acceptable standards and reasonable risk reduction. Maybe the real question should be why isn’t this happening in every thread? Some of the info may not be new to older more experienced members, but as a newbie I’ve learned a lot just from this thread.
Let’s not forget this is not a charity…vendors are making money….I’m sure the constant activity here draws more attention to the thread/vendor/safety standards Seems like a win win
