I just look at the totality of things. If there are far more well done studies pointing in one direction. Or 80% of smaller studies pointing in one direction then i tend to think that is the right direction to follow. 1or 2 lab studies are interesting but not conclusive for me. And for me what tends to mimic nature more is likley the way i will go till i have other data.
