Hard to make generalities because stability is dependent on formulation and quality. But a reasonable rule of them is a year in fridge is very fine minimal degradations

You DO NOT want to put it in an "auto defrosting" freezer like a side by side in your kitchen. better off in a fridge for 3 years than . doing that. A chest freezer is likely fine for 5 years at least.

A -80c cryofreezer indefinite shelf life with absolutely minimal (sub 1%) loss even after a decade. The gold standard.

There are medical supply resellers on eBay that sell used freezers of all sizes and temps you can get it reasonably cheap if you can pickup at location and bypass the incredibly high shipping bought one out of NC has run perfectly

I mentioned this in another thread, but machinery resellers/auction houses get lab materials/equipment all the time and you can get screaming deals on some things with a bit of research.

There are medical supply resellers on eBay that sell used freezers of all sizes and temps you can get it reasonably cheap if you can pickup at location and bypass the incredibly high shipping bought one out of NC has run perfectly

There had been a ton of the top of the line portable cryofreezers at really good prices. from decommissioned ambulances I assume, but they've almost all been snapped up in the last month. The Chinese knockoffs are priced well, hopefully quality holds up.

Normally it has taken me 2-3 business days with other vendor's US warehouse so you and I should expect tracking tomorrow (worst case thursday)
