Ruptured tendon healing protocol

well they do list all forms of tb4/500 as beauty support, but i think i understand what form you are using. Its awesome with bpc157 and at least your doing "decent" doses , this combo shines above 3 mg per day, ive went as high as 6 mg per day and the results were impressive for post op recovery
yeah the frag is the one you want to use because it breaks down way slower. and gets absorbed well into muscle/tendons/ligaments

tb4 breaks down so fast we cant use it for injuries, only beauty stuff. it literally wont have enough time to get into muscle/tendons/ligaments etc

idk what the lowest one is but we want the one similar to full natural protein the synthetic version so that will be the one in the middle on your screenshot.

we also shoot synthetic testosterone, full protein raw testosterone is dogshit

i sometimes add it to my oatmeal, or mostly in a protein shake
I just dump it in my morning liter of water with electrolytes I have with breakfast. The hyaluronic acid in it is a nice skin bonus. Apparently 50-250mg vitamin c is supposed to potentate the way your body uses the collagen so I have been throwing that in as well. I find collagen peptides to be a game changer in terms of joint/ligament support and general recovery.

what kind of "electrolytes" do you use?

i think he like most other people use those overpriced electrolytes packets.

but its much cheaper to just buy the powders themselves.

buy potassium - magnesium - sodium - optionally a calcium option and you're good

i realize this and thank you for input, but i was curious what he uses , not whats needed for an electrolytes mix, i currently use "necessary powders" to get my electrolytes, but always looking for an idea or better "tasting" concoction.

Something I didn't think about was that I have an extensive CCTV surveillance system with a 10TB drive that stores video for quite a while, and I actually was on camera when it happened. Just got some stills from the split second it happened. It's zoomed way in, so pixelated, but you can definitely see the deformed bicep.

Taking it a little easy in the gym, which I do as well these days, didn't save me lol. Stinking yard work injury
Good news is I curled the 27.5's today (my gym has weird dumbells) with that arm and zero pain during or after. Palms forward/pronated grip back work is almost at full capacity, around 85-90% of pre injury weights in working sets. If I didn't know, it's as if it never happened. Still playing it safe with light curls and avoiding back exercises with a suppinated grip for now, but things are healing very quickly

I don't recall hearing or feeling it at all, but maybe the sound of the machete hitting the wood overshadowed it. Glad I didn't, that sound would probably haunt me for a while
Sometimes they're quiet. But I've heard several snap that sounded like a gun going off.
Glad your recovery is going well.

@AllGoodThings Can we get an update on how the recovery is going?

Any changes to your protocol?
Seeing where you are now, would you have added or dropped anything from the start?
While this question is very subjective, do you think there is/was real value in doing this for your recovery? How much do you think it helped? (again, I know this question is very very subjected and hard to quantify, just curious on what you think your improvement was over not doing it.)

At this point, I'm training without restrictions. Back and biceps are at normal working set weights for me, and I have no pain to speak of. I do notice that on arm day, my right bicep seems to fatigue a tiny bit faster than my left, but it's almost not noticeable.

Unfortunately, because I didn't end up getting an MRI, I don't exactly know the extent of the injury I was recovering from. Speculating that it was a complete tear due to the significant and permanent deformity of the bicep, I have to say I'm very impressed with the speed of my recovery. Comparing the recovery of this assumed full proximal tear without surgery to the partial distal tear I had an MRI of and was told didn't need surgery, and the fact that I used zero peptides or any formal recovery protocol with the latter, I must admit that the recovery was significantly expedited with the peptides. Obviously, there isn't any way of knowing how either recovery would have gone if the circumstances were switched. At week 4 with this recent tear, I was already feeling as good as I am now, however I forced myself to slowly increase weight and took my time just to play it safe. I'd say this recovery took about half the time when compared to the distal tear from years ago. Again, not a 1 to 1 comparison, but it's the best I can do. When I add up what I spent on the peptides and supplements, I'd say it was definitely worth it.

@AllGoodThings

Now that another almost 6 weeks have passed, how is the recovery? Can you fill us (me) in on if you stayed with your healing protocol, did you drop things (and when), add anything in, or anything noteworthy?

I'm sorry to keep bugging you on this, but I am going in for surgery soon and looking to maximize the support I can give myself in recovery.
