I don't take issue with people questioning science when they have some sort of actual rational argument or reason for their skepticism, but this dude never does.
When you have no idea what you're talking about and are questioning the science because you can't take the time to understand things, you're not doing science, you're just being an asshole.
Statins are some of the most widely prescribed drugs on the planet with some of the most data around the health outcomes.
In general we have MASSIVE data sets on outcomes related to LDL. We have a solid understanding of the mechanisms around why LDL is bad for cardiovascular health. We have tons and tons and tons of data on outcomes for people on statins vs. people off of them.
Are they perfectly understood? No. Are they some of the best understood drugs on the market today? Yes.
So you don't want people on AAS with known risks around lipids using statins, but meanwhile, you think all of us should be keeping anti-psychotics on-hand. Makes sense.
