Yeah.Because there aren't mega wealthy guys on the ground in China who don't have a target on their back that would "restart" the business if they could.
With Primo raws fetching $15,000/k they just can't find the motivation and resources to produce raws.
"Oh, if only we had Tracey's leftover sale cash and influence we could get those raws factories running again..."
Yeah man, definitely a bit too optimistic imo.![]()
Convinced this is primarily about formally closing out the old “ware”-houses (physically and the business relations). Western-side contractors weren’t going to store a shut down vendors’ product in their basements forever, that wasn’t part of the deal. There also was mention of at least one warehouse *having to be dealt with soon”, presumably that meant a person or business was moving and wasn’t taking the product with them.
I suspect that warehouse situation is what’s behind the timing on this, and maybe some of the bumpiness. Balancing the CN-side legal issues with (reasonably) impatient western-side store-and-forward contractors…yeah…
Also that little blip on the pricelist made me consider that T may have had some other non-QSC branded businesses operating through those locations as well.
All just speculation…and…don’t want to be too curious a cat about this.
