I must say I am encouraged by what I am seeing from some domestic vendors.
This. I watched Primal’s thread from the start. His positive interactions in the face of adversity impressed me. The testing convinced me. I have ordered quite a few things from Primal because he proved to be a good source.

Good sources/businesses get to show off their skills when challenged. Poor sources/businesses are exposed when challenged.

Feels damn good, brother. Doing it the right way isn’t always the easy route, but holy shit it’s paid off. You Apes kept us on our toes from day one, holding us accountable, calling out the BS, pushing for better etc. And that’s exactly why we’ve blown up like this in what? Like 8 weeks? Insane.

The process wasn’t just helpful, it was a literal cheat code. Every bit of feedback made us tighten up and deliver exactly what we promise. And you can see the difference in what lands in your hands. Clean gear and solid service.

So yeah, it makes a massive difference, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Appreciate all you savages for riding with us and keeping the standard high. Remember, this is just the beginning! We have so many great things coming. We love you big f'ing Gorillas <3
Pulling from continuous improvement lessons learned that date back to the inception or process improvement in any industry. The process of reducing waste, improving product quality and productivity is great. The number one killer though when you implement change is sustainment. Yes these guys have come hard at you and took it in stride which I think many will applaud. But the true test is what happens when no one is looking anymore. Are these new standards sustainable? Are you committed day in and day out? When demand calls for shortcuts do you deviate or tell the customer you have to wait? When is your profit more important than the product you supply? That is the true test of any industry. The ones that can evolve and accept the change and hold to it no matter what will always be around much longer than those that don’t. Treat day to day as if someone is always looking and it’s full Hawthorn Effect day in and day out.

Who could have predicted that a seller having regular conversation with the buyer would be so revolutionary? For the product and for customer service. Absolutely shocking!
Ehhh, they gotta be the right conversations. Not just fluffing the source or customer. There are at least two very good threads like this in the Domestic subforum right now. Group effort.

If I was Millard I would be pleased. Not many places you can find these type of interactions on the internet today for gear improvement.
