They're not the best, but unless you're storing them long term, and not keeping them upright, it's not a big deal. Just store them upright and you'll be fine.
I have been intentionally stock piling.

Looks like these wont work for that purpose. Guess ill need more of those ones from Farris to fix these too

You may want to consider freezing them. Freezing will dramatically extend the shelf life of oils, by orders of magnitude, and silicon has the one advantage of being more resistant to both high and low temperatures when compared to other stopper materials. I'm doing the math on my total stockpile, projected use over the years, and deciding what gets stored in normal conditions vs what gets frozen. Figuring it all out is more complicated than I expected

Or ultra spec. The evacuated ones are really handy. If you keep the oil off the silicone you will be fine. BB incompatible with silicone.

I am pretty much doing something similar. It is a whole other rabbit hole.

Damn i... love... you.. man. 4x shelf life in fridge not good enough. Freeze those MFers.

Everyone on this board will be dead. Entire planet gets nuked. 159 years later underground BBers (sole survivors who were down in the sewer during blast, ahem, get it? blast) happen upon your nuke powered freezer....Jackpot.

No lie, I'm actually in the process of planning a solar/battery powered freezer setup for extended power outages. A "garage ready" (wide operating temperature model) freezer that can be left on the porch will be a huge help in the winter where the lack of sun would be offset by the colder temperatures meaning it has far less work to do. This probably sounds ridiculous to some of you, and I'm fine with that lol

Also, did you mean swole survivor? Okay, I'll see myself out...

Have you actually frozen oils and used them after a while? I will likely be freezing and heard that it extends the shelf life, but everything I read was just theory as far as I know. Haven't heard anyone say they have actually frozen oils, I guess until now nobody really had to

I have not personally, no. I might do a test with some... test. Maybe freeze it for a year vs shelf storage for a year of the exact same product and batch, and then send both samples off to Jano. Would be cool to do a few different compounds, and extend it well past a year. If I had a lot more money I can think of some very interesting, and somewhat useful, experiments like that to run.

I ordered some chinese oils, I might try to refrigerate a couple and freeze a couple. If they have EO, they might not even crash in the fridge. Lol
