I believe Jano is pretty spot on in my personal experience. For instance that MastE that came back at 98% let’s say it was 98.00% pure. I brewed a batch and the target for my milligram was 208mg/ml. A client did a blind sample and the target was 218mg/ml. I can post the hplc report but will have to ask permission from client or at least remove his info on report.

Oh I agree on Jano. He cant fake this stuff. I was just talking in the weeds Brother on formatting, notation, margin of error and stuff. I would much rather he report yy.yy% +/- 2% or whatever than xx%+.

What do you think about a line of "unfinished" oils where customer would filter and vial themselves with whatever hardware they would like (glass, stoppers, crimps, etc)? Or they could syringe filter into a ready to fill ALK or ultra spec vial?

You could still filter on your side if you wanted but then you avoid all the stopper preferences/ keeping everyone happy/ clean room / flow hood stuff on part of your oil volume.

Media bottles? Maybe not that large.

Reduce your costs per ml for some fraction of your raws. Still command a premium but then packing has to be tight.

Took a little bit but I read into what you guys were concerned with. Understandable, myself have not experienced a failure. However for the sake of going forward and trying it il make the change. Will definitely use a micrometer to check some of the inside dimensions. Matter of fact I will mic the inside of the my vial and Check the stopper for the measurement some are actually that detailed

There use to be a couple that would send out theirs in plastic perfume or essential oil containers and it was cheaper for both parties…
