Why does a brewer need to know the 1/2 life of his products?
All he needs is displacement, purity and targeted mg/ml.
In general I don’t think he does. But in this case they are selling a unique compound that is not widely offered. He did answer the question. Case resolved.

I wasn’t. I was hoping a brewer / source would know this data quickly off the top of their head. The fact that they also didn’t know what “t 1/2” is was also informative.
To be fair, I’m not sure the half life is well-established.

If cyp isn’t short enough for your purposes, you can try acetate. I hear it’s muy caliente.

lol I’ve heard that also. Someone with my HCT issues prob shouldn’t be messing with boldenone but I thought I could give it a whirl given the lipid issues (and availability issues) on DHt derivative anabolics used as secondaries / for E2 control. I may give this cyp a whirl on a low dose and make sure I have anti anxiety meds on tap and the Red Cross on speed dial for phlebotomy.

More than one person here has reported no or *negative* effect on HCT when taking EQ. I was on 600-800mg and 46.1 HCT, down from 51.5 before I switched to EQ. So you never know…

EQ was berry berry good to me. I loved it, had energy for days, great mood, great libido, clean bloodwork, grew like crazy. Except maybe it was the thing that injured my kidneys?.No way to know except to try again and see if they get worse. And honestly it was such a good experience, sometimes I consider it.

This is very compelling. Thank you for sharing. My memory is fuzzy but I seem to remember getting anxiety from EQ when I ran it 20 years ago. BUT I was doing lots of asinine things back then in terms of just taking whatever I could get my hands on. With the access to bloodwork and blood donation so easy, I may give this a try. Thanks again.

What is your current plan to attenuate your kidney issues?

Astragalus?
SLU?

I, too, have kidney issues. I have chronic kidney disease, stage 2, with albuminuria and a eGFR a bit over 60. I should mention I have very very little EQ usage, my damage is likely related to many years of uncontrolled hypertension. Right now, I'm using BPC-157, SS-31, and TB4 (TB500 full sequence) to help with my kidneys. I haven't had any follow up testing yet to see the results, but I'm hoping for lowered Cystatin-C and a better eGFR number when I do get re-tested.

I'm also taking SLU-PP-332, 2000mg of Astragalus daily, and a few other otc supplements.

ss-31 is the one I keep hearing about in regards to kidneys, lots of anecdotal postings by people saying it has helped. Hope they're true

Really pricey to run at doses used in trials tho.

SGLTs are suposed to help with kidneys.
There's also KERENDIA but good luck getting insurance to approve and a doctor to prescribe.

Anecdotal reports show some benefits at micro doses of around 4mg/day, but I don't think there's any actual evidence of benefit at that dose. I occasionally have my wife (RN) do an IV injection of 5 to 10mg, and it really feels like it perks me up with a nice boost of energy. I've done BPC-157 IV as well, but only for kidney function benefits, I don't "feel" anything from the BPC

I take kidney support supps like astragalus and milk thistle but I’m mostly focused on managing BP and working on better understanding the cause/state/trajectory with a nephrologist. I wasn’t aware of SLU’s relevance here. Will check that out but I’m avoiding most research chemicals out of caution.

My doctor really likes that I’m on telmisartan so I’ll keep taking that. We haven’t discussed SGLT2s yet but after the next battery of tests in a couple of months, I plan to. I was on Protonix for a few years, and I quit that. PPIs can be fine for years and then suddenly cause acute kidney injury. Fuck that whole class of drugs. Doctors hand them out far too easily, but shame on me for not doing more research back then.

So far my CKD (?) is a problem that only exists in test results l, and I hope to keep it that way. For all I know I’ve had this for years before ever taking any AAS. I only found it because my creatinine was elevated for the same benign reason all of us have elevated creatinine (cause we fucking worked hard for it in the gym) and I went in for more testing.

Most of all, I’m trying to avoid anything that might make it worse. I have no symptoms other than very mild proteinuria which doesn’t even show up in standard urine sample tests, only 24hr collections. Creatinine is high but filtration rate is excellent.

I have a complex medical history plus some very, very hard living years in my late 20’s so it’s hard to narrow down the list of suspect causes. But I’m going easy on AAS for the time being. Just taking a long cruise.

At my age (early 50’s) a few dents and scratches on the organs are to be expected. Maybe that’s all this is.

My nephrologist was surprisingly uninterested in my elevated cystatin-c. I’m still confused about that. He didn’t even order it in his follow up tests. The only reason I know it was elevated is from my self-prescribed bloodwork.

I’ll check into SS-31. Sounds like it might be worth the money, but wow is it pricey. I’m taking BPC/TB500 right now to aid in post surgical (hernia) healing. Maybe I should keep it going indefinitely. What’s your protocol?

What is the SLU supposed to be doing?

Lyvelsa (the Sun Pharma licensed version of Kerendia/finerenone) looks pretty affordable...I asked my favorite Indian pharma hookup if he can get it and what he'd charge, just out of curiosity. Thanks for the info on that.

I'd prefer not to do too much self-treatment off the books, but if it comes to pass that there's an applicable treatment and the formal channels won't supply it, well, needs must.

Do you feel effects or have clear symptoms of CKD?
I do not, unless the fatigue issues I've been having for over 2 years are somehow related.

My current protocol is high dosed because I'm recovering from a proximal biceps long head tendon tear. It's as follows:

BPC-157 1.75mg 3x/day (5.25mg/day total)
Oral BPC-157 500mcg 2x/day
TB4 (TB-500 full sequence, injectable) 1.5mg 3x/day (4.5mg/day total)
TB-500 fragment 17-23 1mg/day
rHGH 12iu/day bedtime, subq (this is what I was already taking dosage-wise)
GHK-CU (injectable) 2.5mg 3x/day
KPV (injectable) 500mcg 3x/day
Retatrutide 1.5mg 2x/week
SS-31 5mg/day
MOTS-C 2mg on workout days
Oral SLU-PP-332 750mcg 3x/day

As far as SLU-PP-332 is concerned, there seems to be some early stage research showing some interesting benefits for kidney, cardiac, and liver health.

I think they can even get the name brand by Bayer. I saw it on IndiaMart. A little more than $1 a pill.
