Injectable NAD+ --- Anyone try these applications?

Hey Buds,

FIRST OFF; Due to the often 'Hostile Class-room environment' of MESA, I feel inclined to post this Caveat; I'm not here to brag about my knowledge of Injectable NAD+. Since this is a new PED (to me), I'm just opening a conversation to share how this co-enzyme might help my (AND YOU) performance (or not). SO, if you think you know more than me on this subject, *you're probably right.
````````````````````````````
I've been researching 'NAD+' and apparently there is more than one way to administer this coenzyme. Taking it Orally is a slow process and not nearly as effective as IM or IV.
While doing some research, I found there are 3 basic ways of dosing NAD+ --- Slow drip infusion, subcutaneous injections (insulin needle) or IM with NAD+ oil.
While the term 'Nootropics' is focused more-so on 'Cognitive performance' --- many Athletes find improved Brain Function aids greatly in Physical performance. NAD is supposed to help BOTH!
Here is a video (6 yrs old) of Ben Greenfield (fairly well known Nootropics promoter and Biohacker), doing 'a Push IV of NAD+. Ben has been known to try 'anything and everything' to achieve peak mental and physical performance. NOTE; This is supposed to be a dangerous way to ingest NAD+.
He must be doing 100cc's in one SHOT ! (IV).
According to this Dr.,... injecting subcutaneously calls for 50mg (which seems like a lot in comparison to GH).
HAS ANYONE tried the NAD+ Oil? --- How was it ?
Thoughts /Comments ?
My coach said there is no bio availability for injectable NAD + waste of money.
IF injectable is a waste of time, ... then Oral supplements are a complete 'boondoggle.' TO WHICH I add, ...AND then throw out 10+ yrs of NAD research and testing with Largely 'positive results' ~
Got any sources to quote from your Coach?
he is right.
that shit is broken down long before it enters circulation.
you're better off taking nicotinamide mononucleotideor or nicotinamide riboside orally, which are precursors for NAD+
That's what I'm trying to find out...
WHY would a Dr. inject it 'Subcutaneously' --- then dedicate his practice to recruiting and administering NAD+ to his patients ? --- He's a Professor of Medicine at GW university (that's no 'slouch school').
Is he Crazy or just Hustling $ ???
Hello:
Just my 2 cents...Been doing 100mg subQ NAD+ injections and while nobody can claim that a feeling or side effect translates to a cellular reality, the effects have been incredible for me. I would describe it as a bright nootropic cranial buzz, and a non-stimulatory energy boost (very different than caffeine or other stims). Synergizes amazingly with Methylene Blue and SLU-PP332. I also do subQ Glutathione on a similar rotation.
Dr. Craig Koniver was on Huberman's podcast and they talk about it extensively. Here's a link to that part of the episode:
You could just rip open a pouch and do a chopper of straight Zyn. That'll make your NADs tingle.
Always assume that they are hustling $.
There are labs that test for NAD+. You could always do a pre post injection test to see if it even works.
I also listen to that podcast months ago and that's what led me to even trying it. From my personal experiences of using nad+ for over 4 months following an injection protocol of Monday through Friday weekends off of about 50cc daily. What I felt as soon as I injected it was a short burst of energy and then nothing else. I can't say whether or not it did anything for my mitochondria but I didn't feel like I had any enhanced focus or energy. I used two different sources that I trust and get all my peptides from I really wanted this to be everything it was supposed to be for me it wasn't so I just decided to not use it anymore. Instead I replaced with Mot C, which I can say I do feel some mental clarity this is also a Monday through Friday weekends off 40 cc's a day
Any research that I've done seems to point in the direction that injecting it doesn't work it and gets reduced nothing by your system. There is more favorable evidence to the precursors
atleast that has any research beyond youtube videoes
I think individual context is everything. Not everyone's mitochondria needs optimization, and not all optimization yields the same response. If you have energetic lag, brain fog, or you're 50+, you'll likely benefit from mitochondrial optimization far more than most, and likely feel it the strongest.
I feel the same about supplementation. If you're not on TRT or doing cycles of gear, do you need 5x the normal dose of Astragalus, Citrus Bergamot, Taurine, Omega 3s etc? Likely not. But if so it would be silly not to. Same for meds like
Nebivolol, Telmisartan, Ezetimibe, Tadalifil, etc.
You da man 'Gainz' ...
Have you seen the IM product NAD+ Oil? (sold by SSA). ---10mgs per cc (Seems pretty low considering 100mgs is done using IV).
* Have you tried all methods of administration (IV, IM and Sub)?
* Did you say you were doing 100mg's Sub?
100mg yes. MA has the best deal at 100mg per 1/2 ml in a 20 ml vial. At 5x a week once a month I'm good for 8 months worth at $1.45 per dose. You can keep the $700 per gram one-time IV in these anti-aging clinics taking soccer moms for a fuggin ride. I don't care how potent it is.
