US: A looming threat to peptides & rHGH from China, and potentially India pharma.

I’m guessing that it’s bcos there’s no legit large pharma demand for these raws. If Bayer stopped making Rimobolan that only leaves test Deca with larger pharma demand. With a sprinkle of veterinary leftover demand for Winnie /EQ
Didn't Bayer stop making Rimobolan this year? Or was that a fever dream?

I mean I don't know shit..... But I don't think that's it. Masteron has no legit pharma use /approval and it has been readily available for years.

Pretty sure like Primo it was developed as a breast cancer drug, same as mast.

I think the "mast" is the same as in "mastectomy".

Might be little off subject but Im always fascinated by congress. Most are out of shape, a lot smoke and drink, but they run around patting themselves on the back after making something an "emergency" for the health of the US. Guess we are too stupid to realize that the pharmaceutical masters are screaming down their necks about lost profits. "You better fix this if you want our support!"

1. The FDA will provide more personnel to international mail facilities and play an expanded role in analyzing the mandatory and expanded (ie more details about each pack) electronic customs data sent to CBP prior to arrival by using AI to select targets for inspection. This includes the sender and recipient data. Any involvement by the sender or recipient with prior seizures will certainly be a red flag.

2. The Justice Department is setting up a dedicated group to prosecute false customs declarations on packages, both civilly, and criminally. This was already the law, but almost never enforced before.
Just out of curiosity, do you have a source for these first 2 claims?

So, everyone is just supposed to take your word for it?

I'm not trying to sell you anything. If you don't believe it, I don't care. It's a heads up for those who want to plan for what may occur in the future.

It's reasonable to research this and make a comment, it's another to call it into question without any basis and demand I prove it.

If anyone asks politely for links, I'm always happy to provide.

A good way to evaluate a Nostradamus is by their track record. See below.

(Ah, sorry, the SEC just asked me to inform you that past results do not guarantee future performance.)

Nobody can predict the future, but @Ghoul does keep an eye on trends and events that can affect our little world, many of which I wouldn't otherwise be aware of, and shares his predictions about how those will play out.

The steroid market has experienced disruptions and shortages for months now, as predicted. People who needed primo or mast and stocked up when the first warning went out saved a lot of money vs. the people who have had to buy recently. Look at the price lists of some of the three-letter-acronym Chinese sellers nowadays. They're running out of everything.

The peptide gray market is logically next in big pharma's sights, right after they finish squashing the compounded GLP-1 industry and coercing them into reseller channels for their name-brand GLP-1s. The actual dates for some of the mechanisms, like removal / reduction of De Minimus, are constantly shifting due to implementation timelines and Trumps Art of the Deal / 4-D Chess games with trading partners, but they do seem likely to happen.

You're not supposed to do anything except pay taxes and die. But if I were you, I'd listen with an open mind. If you have well-reasoned opposing viewpoints, please do share them.

How do you think gear from China has been getting in so easily? It's not special smuggling routes, submarines, or secret airports. It's just the mail. Or more accurately, large containers filled with tiny packages, that are relabeled with US postage once they arrive in the US. Customs is sent an electronic list of contents, senders, and recipients which customs just green lights (because they're overwhelmed and they can't charge duties on any of it), and bam, it's in.

That's all about to change.

The "De minimus" rule allowed packages with a declared value under $800 to enter the country without going through customs in most cases. Volume has gone up from a hundred million to a BILLION packages a year. Everyone from trade unions screaming about cheap goods putting them out of work to the police saying this is a primary way drugs are smuggled into the country have been demanding something be done.

And of course, it's a huge potential source of $$$ for the government, the primary motivation.

In anticipation of new legislation to revamp de minimus, they've been laying the groundwork to build the capacity to inspect every parcel coming into the country. JFK has a huge new facility, run by a contractor, with high speed conveyors and AI run scanners, on site drug identification lab, that will go on line in January. It'll primarily be staffed by contractors and the company overseeing this operation will be paid based on performance...ie duties charged and packages seized. This is not your typical "I don't GAF" government worker,

No more skipped inspections.

And now the end game, legislation to flip the switch enabling this new regime is about to be put into place. Will probably he law within weeks, though I assume won't take effect until January.

You can stick your head in the sand, call me a "fear monger", pretend gear will be smuggled in "because drugs get smuggled in", blah blah. Yeah, it'll get in somehow, but it sure won't be like it is now, ordering from a huge selection at incredibly low prices.

If you're smart, especially if you're in self directed TRT and really need the stuff, you'll get on it NOW, and stock up on essentials. All gear begins and ends with raws that come from China, there are no US sources.

The following is my opinion as to what's just ahead of us in the UGL based drug landscape. It's based on my close observation of the political and business movements likely to affect this market. As with every opinion, feel free to take or discard my advice as you see fit.

Eli Lily has finally succeeded in putting a stake in the heart of compounded copies of their $1000/mo drug. With the amount of money on the line, expect them to turn their attention to Chinese knockoffs.

While Tirz (and all peptides/protein therapeutics except growth hormone) are not controlled substances, legal to purchase from many legitimate chemical suppliers, they are not legal to sell for human use.

One element in the upcoming De Minimus small package crackdown is a requirement that every product intended for consumer use is required to comply with all relevant regulations, including those from the FDA, and the seller must provide documentation proving it.

The TLDR is this requirement is sufficient for customs to stop the importation of pharma compounds being sent to individuals. Anyone who buys India pharma regularly knows the FDA can seize any med, regardless of whether it's a controlled substance or not. You can be sure that Eli and Novo are already lobbying hard to ensure these tools are employed in the new tightening customs regime.

Like all contraband in high demand, it'll still find a way in, but expect it to be much more expensive.

For those who rely on these meds, it would be wise to stock up while it's inexpensive and plentiful, to ride out any potential interruption in supply.

If you can get a prescription, even if your insurance doesn't cover it (and many more do now so it's worth rechecking), because once you drop below the qualification BMI, you'll never be able to get a prescrip. Once on it, you'll be able get "maintenance" prescription renewals even if you're normal weight.

You don't have to fill those prescriptions if you choose to keep using UGL, but it's a good backup in case you can't get UGL. Remember, these *hormones* are intended for indefinite use, and those coming off overwhelmingly return to baseline weight.

I did ask politely. "Just out of curiosity, do you have a reference...."

You seem to be rather defensive about it. The letter from Congress is a fact, but are #1 and #2 just speculation?

Ghoul... would this 'Intervention' by CBP being directly targeting 'International Shipments?' ---- Do you believe Domestic vendors will also be affected?

Customs/USPS/fedbois can't scan or open domestic shipments without a warrant. They can do whatever tf they want with intl packages though.

But, domestic suppliers will absolutely be affected on their supply side - no one in the US is making raws.

The ghoul who cried wolf (repeatedly) predicting shit that never happens.
Despite your personal feelings on Ghoul (I am admittedly neutral...he has both helped and hindered me... LMFAO), I simply cannot fathom where he has "cried wolf."

He clearly outlined the de minimus legislation before it was ever on anyone's radar (and those who will claim to know the shit storm coming either kept it to themselves...cool...or didn't know shit).

I really don't keep detailed notes on what he posts but do know he has correctly sounded the alarm on a few occasions. Was every single detail correct? Nope...but that isn't really a fair bar to measure.

I presume Ghoul has some sort of law/legal/legislative connection, career, or specific knowledge (or a loooooong criminal history and unlimited internet access in a penitentiary somewhere? How the fuck should I know).

He has sounded alarm bells when he was shunned and told "shit would go back to normal after the Olympics" etc. You can think of him what you will...I will accuse him of:
- a. Promoting a "drug of the month"....lol (I can't claim he has any nefarious purpose there unless...
- b. He is the mastermind of PCT 24 and all the India pharma....lol (I don't believe this to be true...and Ive brought it up before jokingly).

Maybe just picture him as like Mitch McConnell doing a side hustle on MESO trying to help the American people for...the ....first... time...ever? Evah evah?

#another journal entry....fin

Not in any way other than an interruption of their supplies from outside the US, and potentially exposing them, which could be referred to other LE agencies.

CBP has no jurisdiction over domestic mail or LE matters.

That said, when you read the court docs of domestic labs that have gotten busted, the US Postal Inspectors have serious capabilities, and a lot of time to devote to going after a target. They know a LOT about internal mail.

Sign up for Informed Delivery, and almost instantly images of the next day's mail appear in your account. You'll quickly realize they have images of all domestic mail and packages, and the info on the labels scanned and stored in some database. I have no doubt it's easy for them to recognize patterns using AI and figure out who's doing what.

"Picturing" is a good technique.

I picture @Ryobi like one of the little yapping mutts nipping at my ankles who've come and gone.

....another "empty can" of a mind making a brief, unremarkable appearance on MESO who's absence wont be noticed.
