I wanna start taking high doses of Omega3s for the anti-inflammatory benefits as well as the heart, liver and brain protection. Looking to get 3grams of EPA and 1gram of DHA per day split into 3 doses. Maybe I'll try to go even higher if I feel good on that.
I already take a fish oil supplementa but it's a lower dose. I usually take 2000-3000mg per day of fish oil, which provides about 400-500mg EPA and 300-400mg DHA. I'll gradually increase the dosages until the 3g EPA and 1g DHA (I'll get another brand, otherwise the EPA/DHA ration won't be what I want).
Tho I was wondering what kind of Omega 3 supplement would be best?
I know fish oil can sometimes contain heavy meatals and/or oxidize. I don't know much about Krill oil and Algae Omega 3s.
Any suggestions on which one would be best? Is a good quality (heavy metal tested, non oxidized) fish oil enough or should I consider the other 2?
Any specific brads you would reccomend?
Thanks
