Funny Things You see at the Gym

Does anyone else's gym have that one mentally deranged middle aged karen who grabs the 1kg dumbells and starts violently flailing them around attempting some sort of aerobic workout in front of the weight rack?
Thank God Ive missed that one. I do see the middle aged women walking on the treadmills at a speed that wouldn't get them across the parking lot in a week!

Not really much to laugh to be honest, lot of things piss me off though. You should open a new thread with things that piss you off in the gym. What pissses me off:
- People abusing machines and equipment. Eg. Golfer dude is making golf movement with cable station. Cable protective layer has broken a couple of times now but he keeps on swinging.
- Old dude that comes in and checks all the garbage bins for deposit bottles. Then puts them in his pocket and starts walking the treadmill for 5 minutes really slow to then leave back home.
- People not putting back weights or mixing weights on a storage rack so you need to first remove 5 plates to get to the plate you need.
- Hogging equipment and being on phone for 10 minutes before performing another set. When asked how long they need get answer, I don't know.
- Sneezing and coughing People.
- Ego lifters that walk around like they're twice the size that they really are.
- etc.

I literally got rid of one last year. Wife’s grandmom has been trying to yard sale it for 5 years. Was tempted to bring it home and strap it to the old lady’s ass when she’s being lazy in bed
That first sentence- I thought you were telling us you broke up with your woman

This one ass at the gym brings hiis dog with him to the gym. Keeps him on the side porch with dog treats and water and a pillow while he's inside working out for an hour....wait, thats me. Also, I'm the only one who uses the heavybag. Quick ten minute warm up. Loud as hell. I dont care what other patrons think. I used to use a speed, but some bald cunt popped it(my personal one) because it annoyed him. It was in the boxing toom at a gym.... I've switched gyms

I’m traveling this week and used a LA Fitness in Seattle. There was a guy on a seated dip machine. His arms were locked, and he was shrugging downward. Reverse shrugs are actually a thing so I cannot call it a reverse shrug. I’m not sure WTF he was doing.

And for a LA Fitness this gym was in poor shape. I’m not a fan of that gym chain but my experience is they are usually well taken care of. Seats cracked. Mix and match plates. Rubber missing on the plates. Floor dirty. Nothing to wipe the equipment down with. My gym back home has me spoiled.

I'm going to add reverse shrugs to my routine.

i once saw an 80 year old man using a 45 plate like a steering wheel on the weight rack turning left and right like he was playing an arcade game.

Sounds like a legit workout for an 80 year old. You should have started clapping and yelling "MORE WEIGHT!"
