First cycle

Bear with me, some first cycle questions.. I’m 32 soon. 5’ 10’’, 225lbs, ~22%bf, trained for most my life, but only been back in it and concurrently training for a year now after a few years off. Planning for my first blast around November, once Iv gotten closer to 15%. I’m wondering if the general consensus on here is 500mg of test per week for 12-16 weeks? Iv also seen people say it’s a bad idea to start a blast before you get to 10% bf, am I jumping the gun with going for 15%? Thanks in advance for any tips/advice

Since you say blast I’m just going to assume your on trt.

you think you can get 10% bf consistently? if u are sure u can reach lower bodyfat then rather start cycle with a bulk over a cut.

u dont think u can cut down to 10%?
stay on trt and learn how to cut bodyfat and cycle when u bulk.

i would build muscle easier on 300mg test on a bulk than i would on 1g test on a cut

I should have specified the intention of the blast was to bulk. I personally have no intentions to ever use more than trt/glps/gh (what I’m doing now) to cut. If I’m gunna stress my body out with excessive amounts of hormones I’m gunna reap some benefits lol. I think eventually I could cut down to 10%, but Iv just been back and forth between cutting/maintenance for over a year now and I’m getting a bit impatient. I’m feening for some gains.

heh, its complicated. you need to keep estrogen in check and you're more unhealthy at higher bodyfats(blood work will be worse) but u probably wont do much damage with 500mg test.

just fucking eat less is it that hard? i cant stop you im just giving honest advice as someone whos been there, up the glp. find a calorie intake where u lose 1kg a week 2-3 months you're ready to bulk? you're gonna gain way more muscle just starting at 10% bf and you're gonna keep your abs
 
15% bodyfat you need to lose 1% bodyfat a week aka 1kg for 5 weeks and you're ready. you're so close why are you making excuses
 
It’s not that complicated. You’re going to get guys on here that exaggerate doing a cycle because they want to look knowledgeable. Run 500 test vs trt and you’ll see that you have the enhanced benefits and you just need to do the work in the gym and at the table. Or not at the table if you’re trying to lean out. Only take ai if your having sides like itchy or sore nipples. These younger guys just take it for no damn reason besides they are paranoid of gyno.
