HGH sleep issues

About a month in on ugl GH, 4iu every night before bed, 2hrs after dinner. First couple weeks it knocked me out all night. Past couple weeks I've been wide awake at 3am every night. Almost feels like a cortisol spike. Wondering if I should ride it out, switch to am, or if anyone has had the same experience or knows the possible science behind this regarding the gh interactions with prolactin, progesterone or adrenals.

I have the same problem. Im
Hoping to get trazadone or mirtazapine to help. I’ve gone years without sleeping through the night I’ve always tried to stay away from these but I think the benefits outweigh the cons
without trazadone i wouldn't be able to fall asleep, my mind just races and it doesn't get tired,
Im curious why an antidepressant vs something like Ambien or Rozerem?
Ambien had me "sleep walking naked" to my car at 2 am , my neighbors ring cam caught the whole event, lol

Lol! Ok, so Ambien has too high of an entertainment level for the neighbors. Got it
ambien is a short term treatment of insomnia, and if like me the person has suffered a tbi or some other type of PTSD related injury, ime ambien just doesn't cut it, i've been taking trazadone for over 10 years, and i havent had to increase dose and it still gets the job done, And i am grateful for how it has helped me over the years, ymmv

Those "antidepressants" (not really antidepressants) are more well-known by most doctors; doesn't mean it's the best and drug selection can be a conversation (doctors are rarely hell bent on one drug for all for sleep)

And who tf gets Rozerem?

Zolpidem is a lygand for the alpha 1 subunit of the GABA-A receptor which makes it a hypnotic, with a high addictive potential, not meant to be used long term on a daily basis.

Rozerem is an option though, but it's basically melatonin.

take trazadone for ptsd related sleep issues incured from a tbi
Thought you’d find this interesting.

It found veterans with tbi treated with hgh had lower ptsd and depressive symptoms than baseline.

I have noticed a fairly drastic positive change in my mental health on hgh. I just did a 6 month wash out of everything and just started hgh only at 2.1iu off days and 2.5iu lift days. Just doing a fun experiment seeing the impact low dose over natural for 3-4 months before ramping up.

are you doing a.m. injections?
Yup 530am shallow im. Trying to do anything to maintain my sleep and night injections just add too much chaos. I figure I lose whatever gains I’d get from night injections from the shit sleep. 8pm doing a sprinkle of 300mcg ipamorelin because it raises my HRV, lowers my RHR, and gives me another 30 mins slow wave and rem. I had a shit load of it lying around.

Have you tried a ghrh for sleep yet?

I have, and it worked fantastic, but I developed an allergy to mod grf 1-29 as it now causes hives on every spot I’ve ever injected it in when I use it. Truly I’m even skeptical of using a research chemical like ipamorelin after my experience with mod grf but the results are too great to ignore and I been trying to get my sleep dialed in as much as possible. I’ve been thinking of pulling the trigger on some tesamorelin to add in and see what happens.
