I’ve been on the fence with Jardiance until recently. AAS use is associated with increased left ventricular wall thickness and worsening of systolic and diastolic parameters. A recent study indicates Jardiance can reverse left ventricular hypertrophy and stop the progression. My thinking now is it might help prevent heart damage before it starts. Back in 2020 ECG results showed I have slight thickening of the posterior LV wall. The cause was uncontrolled high BP which has since been resolved. Maybe Jardiance, beta blockers and Carnitine together can reverse that or at a minimum prevent further thickening.

Well, I am taking it mostly for kidneys, but if it can help the heart too, that is a big plus. Like most long term aas users, my heart is enlarged. Albeit the cardiologist says on the high end of normal/low end of enlarged.

Don't know if its discussed elsewhere, but PCT has both Empagloflizin (Jardiance) and the cheaper Dapaglifozin. The former may be more helpful for cardiac remodelling and the kidneys, with the latter better at preventing heart attacks.

Another interesting finding in that study is “SGLT2i have been observed to correlate with increased hematocrit and erythropoiesis, an effect likely rooted in renal mechanisms”. Something to be aware of if that’s been an issue for you in the past.

That used to be an issue for me many years ago. However as I have gotten older, my hematocrit has gone into the normal range.

I have two orders in. One has been shipped the other waiting on the tracking. Hard to pass up when the sale is on. However, in the current environment, it never hurts to stock up and get a bit extra.

he also has a lot of product that is not listed in his price sheet. not scheduled shit, just drugs that might not be popular enough to put in print.

He has never not had a product I asked for. Usually if you can find it exist in Indian pharmacies he can get it. There are some exceptions with some items having specific export restrictions and obviously some controlled substances.

How do you know that your ventricle situation has not improved since then?
