T3

Why use both t3 and t4 when t3 can get the done job alone?
Do you think you'd body makes T4 for no reason at all? I could never be so satisfied with my knowledge that I know better than the body. Keeping T4 in the physiological range is likely important. There is a reason pharma produces Bitiron tabs. There is a reason people say they "feel" better on combination therapy or on Armor Thyroid.

Makes sense

What’s a good ratio you’d suggest for cutting, at the lower levels. 25:100?

Yup. I'm prescribed 60mg np thyroid which is the same as armor but I still felt a little off with fatigue. My doc bumped me to 90mg but I could tell it was too much as all of a sudden when I went outside the sun felt hot as hell, like unnaturally hot . The ratio of t3:t4 is different in a pig thyroid so I started adding in 50mcg t4 with the 60mg np thyroid and I'm feeling great again

Trying to keep my hormone ratios as close to as possible to a "natural state"

T3 only I feel like trash, T4 only I don't feel anything other then added brain fog. Mix them together and I feel good.

I'm sure using GH also plays into it.

I have always found a 1:3 ratio of T3 to T4 works best for me, and again, that's for me as hormones can be pretty individualized.

I like the bitiron tabs, 12.5mcg/50mcg t3/t4.

How do you usually taper off or suggest tapering off? When tapering off should carbs be increased while keeping a deficit still for a little while until the natural thyroid bounces? Let’s say for 2 to 3 weeks before starting the calorie climb up?

Furthermore, do you taper down when coming off or just cut them off completely? And if so how would you suggest it to be done? Thank you for your wisdom and info it helps.

And one last thing, if I was titrating up to 50mcg, what would be the ideal dose of that ratio with t4, or should I instead reduce to 25 and introduce t4 at 75 or 100 as you suggested?

I usually just pop 25mcg T3 with 75mcg T4 puts me in the upper range for both without increasing reverse T3. Everyone is different though.
i personally use 80mgc t4 because i have below free t4 even as a natural. my friend on the other hand has high thyroid in the upper ref range and will sweat like a pig from anything above 40 mcg t4. on the other hand i have high free t3 so i dont need to supplement that at all (both as natty and even higher now sometimes out of ref range high when blasting)

thyroid dosages is completely up to bloodwork.
most people would have a nice effect from little t4 tho like my friend who pops 40mcg because of increased t4>t3 conversion on steriods. assuming they have a normal thyroid unlike mine

In my opinion, youre thinking way too much about something very simple.

I dont think there is a need to taper off of low dosed, or replacement doses of thyroid hormone. If you need to be on it, stay on it, just like TRT. If youre using it for a phase or planned amount of time to reach a goal like a contest prep for bodybuilding, once the task is complete just stop taking it. Your thyroid is very resilient and it will switch back on shortly.

If you want to help your thyroid, supplement with iodine and selenium. Both seem to be very important for thyroid function.

I am not sure I understand your last question. I cant recommend you use 50mcg of T3. Use your bloodwork to guide your ideal T3/T4 supplementation ratio.

It works well but to me it should be used at low dose to be just a little hyperthyroidic, and with T4. Like 100/40 T4/t3. Here it shines. Too much and you will feel flat and anxious. Pharma and on empty stomach only. One time a day in the morning
So around a 1:2 ratio basically? T3 50/T4 100 or T325 T450? Would you prefer dosing only the t3 instead and yes Pharma for sure. Also opinions on splitting t3 morning and night?

you're getting it wrong. no one can answer you because everyones ratio is different!

start by adding 40mcg t4 and do bloodwork after 6 weeks. then adjust. never add t4 and t3 at the same time unless you know your bloodwork and you stopped it before

I've weathered two cutting cycles with T3 so far. The first time I was too aggressive and lost a bit of muscle..not much , it set me back maybe 3-4 weeks. The second time I was more careful. It can be tricky because the more T3 you take, the more calories you can eat while still losing fat. 25-50mcg is plenty, better to use it sparingly IME
May I ask what was ur AAS stack looking like. I'm interested in doing a t3/clen cycle instead of a DNP. Can run it longer, so if I run it double the amount I would run DNP I would get similar results. But you mentioned some muscle loss, may I ask what was ur caloric deficit and AAS stack if you dm me asking?

For cutting I will use test at about 75% the amount I used to bulk, plus a little bit of anavar or tren. Start small with a 300 calorie deficit per day, and then move up to 500 calories per day.
When doing 500 I alternate 3 days in a deficit and one day refeed or maintenance eating

Whats the general opinion on t3 for a cut here?
Scrolled through some threads, but it seems people here really like dnpits easy to overdo t3,which then ends up being catabolic, especially if you dont eat enough protein.

just keep on top of your protein and keep doses moderate, you wont lose muscle
