Can some of you more knowledgeable folks take a look and see if anything there is I can do to improve some of these? My current compounds/stats:

Just turned 50

Running 300 test/150 mast/100 primo/75 tren (not sure why estradiol wasn’t measured but usually low 50’s & don’t get why free test couldn’t be calculated?)

Anavar 20mg daily
4-7iu gh most days
Metformin 1500mg daily
Dihydroberberine with meals
Retatrutide 5mg/wk
Megadosing iron supplements but still low, I’m stumped)
Methylated multi
No AI
Training is good, sleep is shit
6’2” 212 lbs 9% bodyfat

Any help/clues/suggestions MUCH appreciated, thanks y’all!

Well the tren is probably not doing you any favors on sleep. Sleep being one of the three of the Holy Trinity Eat Right train right sleep right.

How do you feel about that hdl? Mine was just tested and came back at 19. Worried me but the rest of my chol numbers are mostly ok. LDL chol calc is bordeline but beyond that ok.

I do have some ezetimibe and bempedoic acid on the way, hopefully that will help for next round of labs. Trying to avoid statins but maybe I should just say f it. We shall see.

**You may want to take out your personal info. Fyi. It's all there. **

The capped IA test was used for TT. Next time use LCMS then you can calculate FT using Vermeulen calc with your SHBG or order equilibrium dialysis to measure FT.

You got a lot going on there. How much feedback you want? It ain't any easier at this age. Best wishes.

Figure out your HBG/HCT. That's strange. Maybe an intestinal bleed? Are your poops dark? Do a stool test?

To boost those, heme iron + vitamin C. i.e. Eat liver and vitamin C, but I'd be more concerned with finding out why they are low.

Yeah they suspected that but I did upper and lower scopes and they didn’t find anything. Definitely already hitting the liver caps, heme iron pills, plenty of red meat, it’s fucking odd

I'd push your docs to figure that one out. If it's not a bleed then it's one of the other things that are not so simple.

Second this. Also, have they said anything about your kidneys? Decreased kidney function could have a large affect on EPO production.
Came here to say this...

Urinalysis results? I may have missed the renal values and CBC...But I'm half asleep.

I don't love high calcium + low albumin but cannot reason my head through it in the middle of the higher where I am right now.

I'll probably regret this post in the AM for sounding 2/3 mentally retarded... but I digress. Back to sleep I go...lol.

Edit: missed a page... LMFAO. Will ponder this more in the AM...but urinalysis, + checking for proteinuria...+/- vitamin D, parathyroid hormone levels would all likely help.

Sorry, gonna have to deal with a few random follow up questions:
- how is your BP?
- I assume you didn't donate blood (or even receive a transfusion)?
- correct me if I'm wrong but we're looking at 2 main panels about 1 months apart? (Each time I look I realize I missed something else...lol)
- how long has the sleep been shit?
- what prompted concern for even checking iron?
- would definitely check out Cystatin-C and further kidney... Urinalysis, +/- culture, urine protein: creatine ratio etc. depending on those results.
- make sure no tick-borne illness (or just take a month or Doxycycline...lol)
- worst case, take a dewormer - ivermectin or something (but not sure if anything endemic where you live...)

I'm shocked they jumped to scope (I mean great..indicated but you're either not in USA or you are very clinical for an illness?)..or you just have a good doctor.. lol.

Sorry for the random thoughts but I always got a lot of them... LMFAO

Hope you get to the bottom of things.

BP is pristine, usually 110/70ish.

Haven’t donated since 2020.

Yes, it’s comparing/showing both last recent ones since they’re both Labcorp.

Sleep has been shit for a while, I don’t think I’ve got a solid 8 hours this century, my last good sleeps were in college.

Just happened across the low iron and hemoglobin about a year ago, and have been trying to supplement iron with no success, even at megadose levels.

I’m in Arizona USA, are ticks a thing here?

Still have some ivermectin on hand, hmmmmm…..

Thanks y’all

I don't think ticks are really an issue out there (but those fuckers are everywhere...lol). It has been a solid 25 years since I was out there.

In times of chronic disease, the body will hide iron stores from bacteria, parasites etc. Whatver (I forget the exact mechanism but probably has something to do with the kidneys as well...seeing the pattern here ..lol)

Chase down more kidney issues...

Make sure that hypercalcemia isn't repeatable.

GI parasites can cause chronic low grade GI bleed but admittedly I'm spit-balling info at the moment.

I haven't even begun to ponder how meds may be playing into things...even secondarily.

Just tryin' to help brainstorm. If your doc gets stuck for ideas, I'll keep asking you for more info...I'm definitely not YOUR doctor...happy to brainstorm but of course don't let me cause any further confusion, either. Good luck!
