I'm sorry you feel like this was intentional. I simply wanted to present an alternative to your question. However, I do believe we did get your question answered. If not, yes.... test the raws. You get purity; you can then properly dose it. If you test the oil, you're not testing for purity.. you're testing if it's dosed right. It's always ideal to test the raws first.
Me personally I just ordered a KG of test enan powder from Eva-Hebei lianfu and am sending 1g of raw powder as well as a few ml of finished product to Jano for purity testing and finished product testing.
To me the $120 x 2 is a small price to pay for peace of mind that I am injecting what is supposed to be test enan even though the smell, texture and melting point was spot on.
My post was never about whether the purity of raws should or should not be tested. My post was about how to go about doing it.
Lets put it in simpler terms.
(1) You test purity by sending a 1g sample. It comes back at a certain %. It doesn't mean much.
vs
(2) You dissolve 5g in 5ml of guaiacol/bb. You then fill it up to 10ml with guaiacol/bb after it the raw has dissolved and send all 10ml for HPLC.
You have 10 ml of liquid.
You have 5g of raw dissolved in it.
You have mg/ml per HPLC.
You have the displacement.
Can you get the purity?
With 5g, it is more accurate.
If its contaminated with another product, it shows in HPLC.
You pay 120$ for either (1) vs (2).
Which is more accurate and useful?
There's batches of primo raws now that seems to be either cut or contaminated by other products, which test will it show up in?
What is 1g out of a 1kg of Test E?
I would test at least 10g. Price is the same. $120.
