Are these vials safe to use

I ordered sterile vials to store benzyl alcohol and bac water.



In photos they were shown as coming in a plastic case. But mine came in a bubble wrapped plastic bag, some vials have scratches but no cracks. Do you think those are safe to use even though some have scratches?

I'd use ALK vials from 10ml Clear Sealed Sterile Depyrogenated Glass Vials (Blue)

I just bought from 2 different places a couple of months ago at Amazon de.
Zhanxubio and Biomed Solutions both 20ml - just to get an idea of what to expect of pre sterilized vials, cause I know nothing in this area...

they both came in a hard plastic case for all the vials + individually wrapped inside the case.
-And I think the Biomed stated that it had Butyl rubber stopper...

- they did not arrive as yours.......

I dont live in the us, and as I couldnt find any domestic vendor, my only option is amazon (so chinese vendors).

I just bought from 2 different places a couple of months ago at Amazon de.

Also I probably should return these vials, are they unsafe to use? I suspect they sent it all in a plastic bag, because I order 50pcs instead 10pcs (which is showcased as coming in a plastic case).

I'm using biomed solutions from amazon.de for over a year, they're coming in a nice pack and to this day i've never had any problems.

Can you reuse formerly sterile vial for peptides?

Example: I filter a chinese GLP and shoot contents into a sterile vial. After I'm doing using it, can I filter more contents into it?

Obviously won't be completely sterile but should be free of the impurities in the chinese peps?

As long as the stopper isn't trashed, you are using compounds with BA, and practice aseptic technique (wipe the top with alcohol and allow to dry, sterile needles etc) the glass is fine to reuse.

I would flush it with BAC between uses though, and only use the same peptide in the same vial.

no other option other than chinese vendors, but there are butyl rubber stopper vials also from chinese which come packaged well. This one is ptfe and has a very good price, but I guess returning is still the smarter choice...

I've done it in a pinch.

Finished a batch of freshly brewed BAC and realized I was out of sterile vials. Fortunately I had a bunch of empty Hospira vials. Just used them as-is.

I wouldn't do that with a GLP1 but I would with a glass vial that previously held the same compound.

It's not like you're ruining the stopper with multiple punctures from an 18 gauge needle. The little insulin pin holes should be no problem.

ALK - Butyl stoppers
UltraSpec - Teflon coated non-latex chlorobutyl rubber stopper

US stoppers are more resistant to BA/BB/Guaiacol degradation and the coating reduces particulate generation at the cost of poorer penetrability..

Think I'll think to UltraSpec..
