Septa cap for media bottle

Those are butyl stopper, not good for dry heat sterilization, I found septa silicone PTFE coated perfect for dry heat sterilization.
are those i pictured gonna work if i sterilize them properly, obviously no heat , but can i just soak them in 99% isopropyl alcohol? or what method would i use to properly sanitize them? Tia brother

Soak them in isopropyl yeah or if you wanna go the extra mile, pressure cooker inside autoclave bags and sanitize them that way, that's 100% sterile 30 minutes at 15psi will have them shine and ready to go :)

I bought an oven only to be used to sanitize everything so I need stuff that can sustain at least 160degrees of heat

Do you have a link for the one you found that worked for dry sterilization? :)

So I have found these silicone stopper for media bottle cap with holes.

Are these ok for being sterilized with dry heat? does the stopper need to be PTFE coated or can be only silicone too?

should i get the one that have a low thickness or high tickness? I don't really understand what would be best : ( I'm a bit retarded I know
I went back and forth with this problem for a while trying to find a solution for heat sterilization and decided on just getting these caps instead. You dont get a septa to put a needle through, but i just always leave a filter on the top with a syringe plug or just leave an empty luerlock syringe on top for next time. If you type in gl-45 vented cap you should get some results. I believe mine are from ks-tek.
I know I didn't answer your question but it's an alternative if you dont find what you're looking for.images (1).webp

are you just pushing the syringe filter into that small hole in top of cap?
