Albuterol Research Shows Promise

Interesting results in this pubmed study.
Albuterol doesn’t get a lot of attention, especially with the success of other weight loss drugs available.

Is Albuterol a dud, or have you had success with it?

I plan to run it for 2 months to see if it will be affective during the final legs of a natural cut. I have read a lot of promising things about this beta-2-agonist, am I going to be let down?

I always assumed that albuterol/salbutamol would work well stacked with caffeine since all the research and bodybuilder reports suggested ephedrine + caffeine as an effective stack. But I never looked into the research. Thanks for posting.

So many studies seem to suggest it being quite effective around LBM preservation as well, which I find interesting. Thanks for passing on another article too.

I don’t see a whole lot of personal experiences around its use; I’m going to give it a try here soon, so I will throw up the results when the time comes.

The plan is to work up to 12mg or 16mg per day, along with coffee, for about 8 weeks.

Unfortunately, I think it's a dud. It should work in theory but it just doesn't work for me. I take caffeine and salbutamol every day in high dosages, generally. Why? I like the open airway effect and I know that, in theory, this combination should help me burn more fat and preserve muscle but I have no evidence that it's done this for me.

Salbutamol fails to produce substantial results as a fat burner. Maybe it can preserve muscle but I don't know.

I think you should try it though. Maybe you will have different results. It's not expensive and it's easy to do. Just make sure to use 1mg (or more, like 2-3mg) ketotifen every so often to help reset salbutamol tolerance.

Well @Inspired, that is unfortunate to hear you’re thinking it’s a dud. I would imagine that if it was anything all that great I would have come across more anecdotal reports saying so. Good you see benefit from it enough to take it otherwise. I appreciate the reply.

Have you ever used it as a stand alone?

Since I’ve got it, I may still try it though, like you’re sayin.

I will report back one way or the other.

I have some on the way. I already use Tirzepatide, but hoping to make the switch if it proves to be effective. I'll be testing it out for a few months and keeping track of the results.

I use it in a rotation of 2 weeks on/ off. It works. Just a lil slower results than clen for me but without the insanity of insomnia and heart palpitations. Way less sides then clen, but hence not as powerfull. I ramp up to 20 mg daily by the end of week 1. I also use it in conjunction with 400-600 mg caffeine.
It definitely raises my metabolic rate, i just run hotter when on it period. I can be doing nothing but sitting and have a slight sweat going.
Better than ephedrine, not as good as clen, but less sides. My 2 cents.

Couple interesting studies regarding salbutamol:

How did it go?
Ironic timing that you reached out, I just decided to start it again yesterday.

Originally it had me sweating so bad at work that I had to call it quits. I have a bit of change of pace here so will see how it goes.

I had ramped up to 16mg a day and enjoyed the open airway effect. Cardio seemed easier.
On the other hand I wasn’t a huge fan of the general “blah” feeling I had.

I will report back on how this second attempt goes.

sweet thanks, I'll check back. I was looking around trying to see who got results I'll be using it in the summer.

The science is very promising, my real world results have been less than fulfilling. Coupled with the need for higher dosing frequency than clenbuterol, there is a reason the albuterol/yohimbine stacks were left in the past. Even putting yohimbine’s issues aside.

Thanks for the feedback. What protocol did you use?

With the options out there for weight loss, no doubt why this got left in the past like you say.

I’ll see how it goes. Not expecting anything tremendous.
