So I have a more recent post I can refer to without having to go back 1000 pages:

Everything is available at a price. I never claimed complete unavailability.

The point was we were in the golden age of cheap and easy gear availability, and it might be wise to take advantage in case all the signs pointing to that changing for the worse became reality.

At the worst you'd have a healthy supply built up you would burn through over time.

Best case scenario you could sit back with your stash, relax, and ride things out for however long it takes for the chaos to settle and a new market takes the place of the old one.

Third party countries will have an issue with tons of controlled drug filled packs flowing through their country on the way to the US,

Customs in most countries is way tougher than the US has been the last few years.
