What's your current old man cycle?

This has always been my issue. I'd look really weird at 6'4 180ish. 225-240 has always been the range for me. BMI needs to go.

At 205 lbs, you'd still be normal weight. At 225 you're barely overweight.

BMI works for most adults. We're not a very muscled species, on average.

Truth on the muscles. I work with some folks with eating disorders and severe body dismorphia, so I'm jaded and very biased about BMI and how it can negatively impact folks.

I understand, was just tossing it out there. If the prostate starts causing issues, a hard on might be a secondary consideration (spoken like a true old man I guess). Hopefully it doesnt get to that point for any of us.
maybe a solution could be avoid to let start causing issue?
Keeping in mind that anabolic steroids sides are not ONLY :
blood pressure
high estrogen
low hdl
high hematocrit
BUT ALSO
a slow grow of prostate trough years?
I understand that usually this side effect is not considered but is because usually the use of anabolic steroid is by young people...
But in this section of forum we are talking with over 40 years old so maybe this aspect should have more attention.

It would be nice to be able to avoid the cause but if youre in prescribed trt, its for a reason. Yeah, its gonna cause growth on the ol prostate but the effects of being below 100 on natural test are horrible also. I guess its kind of a balancing game, trying to get the most you can out of the good while minimizing the bad.

ok, but we are not talking about trt: trt (real trt not bro-trt) keep you on the reference range so you are in the same condition of a natural;
We are talking about cycling, and about cycling i think it need to consider:
a) the total time (weeks) of each year in wich we abuse of androgen
b) the kind of molecule (there are mor and less androgenic)
c) the total dosage

imho

Gotcha, and yep, I agree. Damn sure a difference between a 25 yo liver and a 60 yo liver, etc.

I think that sentence told me more than the entire rest of your post, lol. :D Well, now you know.

5% - 7% would be killer

What do you weigh now at the end of the 20 weeks (and how tall)?

As always, going by "feels" is bullshit:

1738279425579.webp

~22.9lbs of lean tissue gained in 20 weeks, which is nonsensical. I was depleted on the last scan, so I'm sure a fair bit of that is water, but even still, I'm pleased with the results. Maybe my ridiculous cycle paid off.

Just so I'm clear, I don't *look* like I'm 7.2% by bodybuilder standards. That's partly loose skin and where I have lingering fat deposits. I have almost no subcutaneous fat in my limbs, but still some in my lower abdomen and in my lower back even though I can see veins in my serratus. I suspect there's also a delta between the number a dexa reports and what bodybuilders expectations are.

I'm about to get shredded AF.

Got my blood’s drawn today. If everything looks good I’ll hop off this cruise. Only concern was insulin resistance but that should be resolved.

I’ve posted about this before in other threads but currently cruising:

200mg test cyp weekly split Mon/Fri
80mg primo weekly with test
3iu HGH daily split AM/PM
250iu HCG EOD

Recently dropped the primo down from 100mg to 80mg because I was getting some low E2 sides.

Blood pressure has been creeping up with the HGH even with 40mg telmisartan so I added in 5mg of amlodipine and that has helped a ton.

Elevated BP is probably partly due to very little cardio and water retention from the HGH. Working on the cardio part but still gained 5lbs in the last month since titrating up from 2iu to 3iu.

Any suggestions on the water retention?
Drinking probably 1.25-1.5 gallons of water a day and taking dandelion extract.

Bloodwork in 2 weeks.

Plan to adjust anything that needs to change after bloods come back. If all is good I’ll stay here until late March, get bloodwork again and if that comes back ok run a blast.

What helped me for water retention was to supplement with 4g of Taurin and sprinkle in a little bit potassium about 400mgs daily while keeping all other Elektrolytes up and just drinking a lot to flush things out.

Running a Test/Primo cruise all hear around myself with a bit of hcg.

Thanks, I’ll look into adding taurine.

Because of the telm/amlo combo I’m trying to keep potassium intake steady/no changes until after bloodwork to see where my potassium levels are now.

Could add a low dose of hydrochlorothiazide, that will help with BP/ water retention.

Are you splitting your 80mg of primo in half to coincide with you test or just once a week? Just curious as I’m about to run similar cycle myself

Thanks, I’ll check that out.

Primo is split 40mg 2x a week, same time as test.

I put the primo into the same vial the test is in so I only have to draw and inject once for both compounds.

Am I the only one on this web site who gets horrible cramps when working out even on a low dose of HCTZ?

It really interferes with my ability to train.
