Before leaping to assumptions & accusations, it might be prudent to ask @Millard whether the “3 strikes & out” rule was ever an official policy that he’s formally declared on the forum. I honestly don’t know, hence this post.

It’s possible that this wasn’t ever an official declared rule & members have just assumed it was after perma-bans were given to some after 3 temp bans.

And, since the MSG gentleman who had a go, how many people have you seen on that thread, actively doing what he was?

All I have seen is people asking for promos.

Yes, that thread and others can get derailed and off topic. Yes, the ET is/was a movement that never had a solid plan in place for success, just good intentions and a can do attitude with some good researching. So when a source did it there was a celebration. However some that have been here a long time called it that yes they’ll test for a hit second and somehow their stuff will test well then they’ll put it to bed and keep selling mediocre gear.

I think after all the back and forth we netted out in a better place which is it takes all of us to push on sources and not buy them and share opinions when it’s bad. Some always will because they’re cheap and think bad stuff won’t happen to them but you can’t save them all.
