Readalots Enhanced Testing

You are missing the point. Readalot's spamming vendors is a bb gun, annoying but only that.

You want real guns? Let the community to cast a vote on banning a vendor or not, if he engages in harm behavior, like floaters, false advertising (underdosed gear, mixed up apis etc), shilling via alt accounts, dealing high abuse potential substances like narcotics and does nothing to correct it.
Fair enough. Maybe THAT is what we need Millard's opinion on (though I'm sure there are pitfalls..I guess democracy is what I was raised on...lol).

I do think that the active banishment still runs antithetical to what Millard had stated as a vision (which I realize perhaps leaves others to wonder about financial incentives etc...)

Or perhaps even a separate thread to discuss the merits of actively voting or banning and pitfalls etc.

I guess my thought has always been less regulation, the better (at least when it comes to the government). But we can't get bogged down in my lowly opinion as one man.

Link?

Or is the usual, when confronted for throwing shit at someone, I post some gibberish and run away?
So no comments on my response with prior quotations? You have never addressed them after multiple prompts. You asked and I provided. Feedback? Clarification? What were you referring to?

I am puzzled why these exchanges go silent with no resolution.

The problem with IGNORE is you are unable to see all stages of the emotional breakdown. It is similar to driving by a bad train wreck. Regardless of how bad it appears from afar, you still have to look as you drive by.
Absolutely worthless comment. Troll.

Simple as that.

But I thought you said you were done with you master level lesson?

Post history:

Do you ever step away from the computer? Holy shit dude. Go outside. Talk to someone. Find a hobby.

Comment on what? Your hypothesis that stems from a distorted version of reality, where I bait Millard to prove something? Aren't you doing his bidding, pushing for more testing as a community member? And you consider my statements bait?

Sad thing is, the true community that would want them gone would be out voted, as already experienced. The shills and the little Reddit punks and all the cheap gear lovers shut down the voices of those who wished to run off the likes of QSC.

youre actually replying to a paid shill,
thats why he said the idea in the first place, he knows this

You can always let only members that have actual contribution to the community be able to vote, since shills and Reddit Karens usually contribute dick squat other than shilling or buying gear

Do you have actual proof maggot, or you assume that much from the one Google Translated mandarin insult I posted?

Either provide the proof or go eat dirt that you do so well.

And also, from what I understand from MSG's comments, they gave up because bans for sources were not implemented the way they should have been, if I understood it correctly.
Maybe there were misunderstandings.
But it's easy to see why OGs would have lost patience and the will to fight against something they did not have power against, in real terms.

See, this is exactly the kind of unproductive commenting that cant happen...unless you actually know something, in which case take it up with the administrator and I suspect/hope/trust it would be dealt with.

It's now becoming two camps:
-1.) anti-readalot: paid shills and bad actors

-2.) team Readalot: bunch of keyboard warriors that don't actually lift or bodybuild or know how to brew.

Note: I don't actually believe any of that...but we are thing to get each other chasing fucking ghosts around here.

I don't make assumptions about what anyone is actually up to. I have guesses but no actual clue what anyone on this board does or doesn't do for a living or how successful they may be or what color underwear they have on.

It's disingenuous and counter-productive to keep spreading narratives like this (again, unless someone knows something rock solid...then take it to the top of the chain...otherwise, this is just part of the problem)

It sounds like we all agree more testing and surveillance is useful (I've yet to hear anyone come out and say that is actually bad)...so we all have some clear common ground.

What we don't agree on is the feasibility or next best steps....but how about we just keep acknowledging there is actually some common ground on something.

You are a reseller that got himself on the corner due to low stock.

Good.

Oh wow. Didn't realize he was a reseller. Even worse cause he can't measure

@Zebedee said earlier in the thread or the other one (can't remember and ain't going to look right now) he might share some thoughts. Maybe he will.

You are a good man @RandallFlagg.

I understand what you're going for. I just think it's disastrous because:
- the level of administration needed to implement this system would be enormous.
- you create even more or a popularity contest where people suddenly only care about their status and how much voting power they have (I mean I bet there's some random dude hardcore bodybuilder who could sign up tomorrow...be totally into testing and brewing....and have less of a vote than me)
- I think it's next to impossible to truly ascertain the true intentions of the voting community

- do we decide to vote on a source after one shit brew? Who decides on opportunities for redemption?
- are we making mandatory enhanced testing.a thing?

I could go on and on...just as you can go on and on for all the reasons Readalots vision can't work (which I don't think anyone would disagree his vision isn't perfect or even very feasible...but it is baby steps in the right direction).

I'm truly not shooting down the idea. I just don't see it being feasible without becoming a good ol' boys club...and I really thought the point of this was for the COMMUNITY to come together and vote with their wallets and pushing of sources to up their standards.

I do like the insight and thoughts though so maybe something can evolve from this.

all your posts are proof.

something people might not be aware of is that when GA claimed there was a shortage in order to raise his prices 5x, you went to another forum, that you haven't posted at in months, just to spread the shortage rumour in GA source thread.
See, this is exactly the kind of unproductive commenting that cant happen...unless you actually know something, in which case take it up with the administrator and I suspect/hope/trust it would be dealt with.
Really? of allll the comments, mine is unproductive?

yes, if you are opposed to having higher gear standards you are probably not a consumer or readalot hurt your ego at some point. readalot posts shouldn't bother anyone unless they have $ to lose.

buddy, open your eyes, half of this thread is unproductive because of the reason I stated. its by design.

you are in over your head, you haven't spent enough time here or can't read between the lines. So please don't tell me, one of the only people calling out shills, that I'm being unproductive or spreading a false narrative, I'm actually pointing out this thread is exactly that, intentionally.

There is a massive problem with people whoring their account out for money,

do you even read readalots posts about bad faith?

you can see all these problems with the voting idea, you even call it disastrous, well NO SHIT DUDE THATS WHY HE SUGGUESTED IT.

stop being such fucking pussies "im truly not shooting down the idea"

this forum is all shills and 40 year old TRT brainfogg fat guys that fill out their TPS reports on time

Ok...so proof?

I'll never argue I may be in over my head or naive...at least not in this UGL world. (I guess I do kinda fall into the 40 year brain fog fat guy...but fuck, I haven't finished that TPS report yet...get outta my head!!)

But yeah, proof...or the comment is pointless...and you don't owe ME any proof ...just those who may need to know.

1.) Reading between the lines? You're right...in this case, i can't. Why don't we clearly state what we're saying?

2.) if the issue is someone maybe buys raws,. brews,.and has a side business,.why does it matter directly to business here? Are we saying people are selling on the side here? I'm not clear on what lines I'm supposed to read between.

3.) no,.your post was definitely not the only one off topic and inflammatory.
- I appreciate your support of further testing.

I have read a lot (but impossible to read all) of Readalot's posts. I can't claim to really know,. understand, or agree with the bad faith arguments (aside from people who hate him are trying to distract from the goals...but I've yet to hear anyone say anything other than hating the . messenger...if there's a other reason, let's hear it!)

And to be honest, although off topic...I still think we've reached a point where we all agree more testing is good (at least ive heard most everyone say that). Now that we've established common ground,.we can move forward.

All those opposed can speak up...simple or not?

So my posts about Homebrewing, training, cycles etc are proof I am a paid shill? Or the post that relay info on a forum that is ruled by sources for an actual fact that shortages are on the horizon, that was actually proven accurate by the current situation?

Right.

Do you eat paint with that dirt too?
