Water intake

3 Liters per day is the goal. But it comes down to my body. There have been days I may drink 1.5 Liters rather than 2 or 3. There is no perfect science. Just listen to your body and what it needs based on your lifestyle, cycle, diet, misc.
 
what does one take to keep electrolytes in check? drinking water in abundance tends to flush out those precious electrolytes i take an electrolytes powder and eat leafy greens everday any suggestions?

I love the gatorade packs, find that easy to get electrolytes in. Ill drink like 2-3 a day.
 
Are you talking regular gatorade or sugar free? I try to stay away from sugar thx
I have both, i take the sugar free packets when i just want flavor….

I take the tubs of gatorade and have 2 scoops, 1 hour for preworkout for the extra carbs. 40 grams sugar/carbs
 
Electrolyte balance always confuses me, hydration by plain water doesn't mean anything by its own, it all cames down to how much you secrete, how much you drink, how many electrolytes and how many carbs during the day. I drink enough water, 1 to 1,5 gallons but i think i'm sodium and potassium deficient because i have low blood pressure (105/5,5 to 115/6,2) and after a pull day i get nasty cramps into my forearms and biceps despite the 3-4 grams of taurine preworkout. I might need to raise the sodium and potassium either from salt or some supplement probably. Shame we don't have gatorade in my country
 
I just ordered some potassium chloride from bulk supplements im gonna add to my pre-workout protein shake concoction ( 25g protein, 125 carbs, 3grams beta alanine,3grams l-citrulline ) and i get 80-100oz water daily with the addition electrolytes powder bcaa and himilayan salt and still i get muscle spasms at times but only in my lower outter triceps its strange

Some people consume cream of tartar to replenish potassium mixed with plain salt and water, or into the intraworkout. Muscle spasm can occur from magnesium deficiency also. Do you supplement extra magnesium? I take 600mg per day
 
I don't know man, some mag forms they make you shit your pants but i don't remember which exactly. I stick with glycinate-bisglycinate, i tried it up to 800 a day and i didn't experienced any sides, so i stick with these.
