Test vs Test vs Test

Which test do most people use for home brewing? I've read and read and read..

According to the Bible here it says Test c crashes a lot, so use Test e.. but as I do searches it seems that some have issues with Test e. When I look at the price list, there is also Test base, which I've seen in a few recipes during my searches, but I didn't see it in the Bible.

This will be for a first time home brewer. Thanks!

Test E: Staple easy to brew but the last few years is a pain in the ass...literally!
Test C: At 200mg/ml its relatively easy to brew and no issues most of the time
Test Prop: Lower concentrations, has a bit of a sting

And last but not least my personal favor, the last few years
Test Decanoate: Easy to brew even at 400mg/ml, longer half life if you want it for TRT, no issues with pip

Thank You!!! Perfect explanation!

That's exactly what I saw was the issue with the e (even though it's supposed to be more popular that c).

Test D if you want to reduce the total oil volume that you have to inject. You can brew at 350-400 mg.
If you don't pin alot of oil week in and week out then Test C it would be a alternative. You can brew at 200-220 mg without crashing.

Thanks! It's getting brewed at 200 mg.

I've never had any test crash, super easy to brew but as others have mentioned in recent years Test E might have you not wanting to use it from the PIP. Grab some C and you're g2g

Exactly what narta said.

There are plenty more esters/blends to play with but I would wait until you get a little more familiar with brewing. Nothing worse than wasting a bunch of gear/supplies fumbling through different protocols when you're just getting started.

And even though cypionate is plenty easy to brew at 200mg/ml or lower, it still feels thicker going through the pin to me. Less pleasant pinning experience.

Did you get the pain with Test E regardless of the source?

Hello, I’m looking to get into home brewing also where would i find good resources on how to home brew and where would i find good ingredients.

Honestly I'm a new member and I haven't posted anything. This is my first post and I'm still reading every thread on home brewing. Just read everything brother alot of your questions will be answered. This forum has tons of info I'm glad I was recommended to it . This place has the best info so far about homebrewing and not only homebrewing but the safety prevention and doing everything in the right way . I won't ask any questions untill I go through the thousands of pages that are here already

In this forum. Just need to start reading.
Yep exactly. I won't ask anything until I go through all the threads. Most questions I've had were actually awnsered by just reading . I treat it like a book . Might not find the awsner on one thread but on another you will. Also in reality it stops you from asking the same question others have asked . Being spoon fed information speaks volumes and shows your real integrity if your not willing to spend time reading then you probably shouldn't be brewing.
