Triceps tendonitis recovery (PRP, bpc 157, tb-500)

Elbow wraps first and foremost. Prednisone 20mg on arm days only. (Longer use creates dependency and ceases healing. Causing Tendonosis) Add Curcumin daily. Ice 10 min (not longer) on arm days only. Regiment works

Not a big fan of Corticosteroids,as they actually damage and weaken tendons.
I use collagen, boswelia, msm and elbow wraps on my pushing days.
This is an old recurring injury i sustained when i was younger and dumber and doing heavy skullcrushes.

yes i have experience here and here is what worked for me. So i noticed my right tricep was getting bad bad pain in my elbow espesceialluy doing anuthing overheard for triceps which is my favorite by the way ha but i was unable to do most lifts becasue of pain. So I dude bpc 157, tb 500, injectected directly into the elbow area, i rested it for two weeks and didnt train triceps, i was also on geno pens 5 iu daily, i ran the peps for 4 weeks and i swear to you i have zero pain now and it cured my tendonitities those peps are amazing but make sure to rest the muscle and let it heal.

before you try any drugs or pain relievers try the peptides. look how dorian ruptutred his tendon.. he did one of those shots to numb the area they used to do on athletes cortisone? I dont remember the name but he was training and boom ruptured it, you gotta heal it dont try and mask the pain it will just make it worse

Agree. Corticosteroids. They soften the connective tissue with extended use, as well as slow or bring collagen 1 replacement to a standstill. It is certainly a consideration. Hence the intermittent use immediately after exercise. They should be used no more than 2x a week this way.

Bpc-157 500mcg 2x per day pinned locally along with dual ply elbow sleeves and no extension exercises, just things like close grip bench and reverse grip incline did the trick for me. Definitely do not use ice for a tendon issue

Can you explain this to me? Remember he (OP) is not referring to tendon injury.

Everything I have read, experienced and been told by ortho is ICE immediately after aggravation in moderation (excess icing results in reactive over inflammation)

Example: 10-15 min elbows knees, 20 min shoulders back etc. Now tendon injury is where heat should be applied several days to weeks _after_ injury. Icing is still recommended immediately following injury to reduce reactive swelling.

I think the key call out here is icing in moderation which heh… we OCD folks tend to struggle with anything in moderation.

(Myself included for years)

Otherwise I would agree. I can vouch for over icing and the negative impact. I can also vouch personally for lackluster BPC/TB results with tendonitis though they are fantastic for tendon injury and shortening healing duration.

Interested in your thoughts

Ice will slow down recovery. Dr Gabe Mirkin who came up with the term R. I. C. E way back actually came out several years ago saying that ice actually wasn't the right thing to do, that it would delay healing.

Ice may reduce acute pain, but not the healing process

I agree with you on that. Continuous icing is not advisable. Let me be more targeted. One should ice on days where they aggravate the connective tissue. (immediately after lift… within several hrs in this case) This brings down immediate inflammation which reduces blood flow.

+1 for peptides

I had excellent results with TB500 when it came
to healing a long suffered tendon issue.

I’m on 5th week of BPC157 for a couple other targeted areas. So far so good, but I was expecting more based on others experiences.

On BPC-157… I have had issues with acid reflux for years. Ulcers and Orals like Anadrol exacerbate it.

That peptide is as close a “cure” as I have ever come to. I literally have to take it just 2x per week and ZERO ulcer or Gerd symptoms

Blown away by its action in that capacity. If I had Crohns I would be investing in it

That’s awesome to hear man. For gut issues do you still inject, or have you gone the oral route? I’m interested in some of the gut healing benefits for a family member who suffers.

Most experiences I’ve read about BPC are very good, like yours. Seems most people regard it higher than TB for the reason I chose to take either. So after I had such a good experience with TB, I was looking forward to drastic things from BPC. We’ll see what the last couple weeks brings.

TB seems to be better for healing injury related to tendon/connective tissue and muscles/bone. BPC seems better for inflammation reduction in gut and healing ulceration. (Which I suspect has something to do with regulation of digestive process) Injection. I haven’t messed with oral.

Hey guys
Does anybody have experience with PRP for tendonitis?
Also considering Shockwave therapy.
Or did you heal it with peptides?
Any suggestions are welcome.
Yes, I ended up using the BPC-157 / TB500 combo (500mg daily) for 3 months and it completely went away. Got the peptides from Peptide Sciences. It was a bit pricey, but totally worth it.
