Protein farts

Is farting a lot through the day a sign of excessive protein in the diet? Or it's just the way it is? I am hitting about 300gr a day, not sure if I need that much, It just keeps me full and I avoid abusing carbs.

Especially after eating a beef meal, damn, those are devastating.
 
What kind of protein(s) bro? There are beef protien shakes but are really a different source of "beef"

If you refer to actual beef, like a good ol' beef taco like picadillo or some chit, then ide have to ask, if you're eating some beans as a side haha

Basic foods, whey (2 scoops a day), chicken/beef, cottage cheese, whole eggs and egg whites, sometimes casein pre bed
 
Eggs and cheese are the culprits. Get some prebiotics and invest in a good digestive enzymes product.

I don't think you need that much unless you are 250 or over. I don't know your stats. Your body will adapt over time. Also, eat some yogurt a few times a day if you want to save on buying probiotics.

Dave Palumbo said he likes to drink apple cider vinegar as he wakes up for digestion. That shit gives me the worst heartburn and did not help with digestion one bit but some people really like it.
 
Get some Bromelain, take it with protein meals. It's pineapple extract, even eating fresh pineapple helps. I keep carbs low during a cut, but I make room for pineapple in my intake.

The Wife likes it too, no bad farts and the other effects.. ;):cool:

One small can of pineapple juice daily is a speedy way to heal bruises too!
