Has anyone here used 9mm knee sleeves?

Curious for some feedback on 9 mm knee sleeves. I see that there are a couple Brands out there that offer them whereas most are always 5 mm or 7 mm. I am a bodybuilder not a powerlifter however I figured you guys would be the most likely to have used them so I figured I would post in this section

I have IR 7mm and IMO it’s too much. Grab a fabric-style knee sleeve and have wraps for the big sets that require more.

Right now I have 5mm slingshot and 7mm stoic, love both and use the stoics for my heavier stuff. I had contemplated wraps, but I think with high rep they might be more of a pain than a help. I could totally be wrong there, I had just always heard wraps were best at 10 reps or less

I think 7 mm is optimal, I think they are suitable for any task in the gym.

It’s not that they’re best in a rep range because they’re good for any rep range…it’s more of how long can you last wearing wraps? I’ve done 3-5 reps in them and I’m racing to rack the bar and get them the fuck off lol. They aren’t comfy by any means.so can you use them for 10-20+ reps? Hell yeah…but can you take that pain and feet going numb for that long? That’s something only you can determine haha.

I bought SBD sleeves as my first pair cuz the coach said they were the best. Since then (7yrs ago) I've bought 1 more pair, 1 size bigger

I get knee pain quite a bit now when I load heavy on squat and especially on leg presses. Wondering about whether something like this will help . . .

Usually it always helps positively, for me everyone who had problems with their knees, wearing knee pads, noticed a positive effect.

Can you provide a link to these knee pads and where to order them? thanks in advance.
I typed "sbd" into Google and knee sleeves came up, I clicked on the second link which was their website.

I'm hoping that's it's just because of day after Black Friday, and they'll restock soon, but they only have the smallest and largest size available. I need some of these fuckers. I'll let you know if I find any around in stock.

Stoic have been reviewed by several channels on YouTube to be just as good or better, and far cheaper.
