I sometimes do this on days I can't bring food with me and it's hot outside. Most I had to do this was 5 days I think.
Protein powder + instant oats + peanut butter (packed in sachet serving) is usually the choice.
I still bring fruits like apples, oranges, bananas with me. Protein bars, beef jerky, cheese sticks, some pistachios and almonds.
I don't think this is a very good idea. For it is important for the body to digest hard food, again the world elements, the shell. The release rate of sugar will be higher. Peaks when sugar jumps will be higher. It seems to me, other things being equal, there will be more fat gain.Anyone ever tried this style of eating where you pack all your macros into `mostly` shakes?
Yes...
When I had a broken jaw.
Never doing that again. LOL
Now I stick to 2-3 protein shakes a day on top of my 3-4 meals.
Are you considering this @1tank1
Good luck bro. Keep us posted!I think I'm gonna give it a go. I'll try and get a solid meal for breakfast or maybe a solid meal in the evening but all my other meals are gonna be shakes for atleast 3 months. I can't afford my usual food bill anymore![]()
WoW, when the jaw is broken, I think life is full of shit, it seems to me. I can not imagine how you can live without the ability to chew and eat food.Yes...

Other sources i use are farm fresh eggs, cottage cheese, and Greek yogurt.
Same boat here, thankfully fuel hasn't killed me as a live and work in a small town so my.fym and work.commute is a combined 5km lolIt's the fresh meat/fish prices that have really fucked me up financially and forced me to change how I eat.
Fuel prices haven't helped my budget either...

Check frozen meats... price is usually a bit better than fresh. It's the fresh meat/fish prices that have really fucked me up financially and forced me to change how I eat.

Fish chicken beef etc
I see... how the frozen white fish prices? I usually include lots of basa(white fish) in my diet. Cheap lean proteinIt's all nasty compared to fresh bro (white fish not too bad when mixed in with mashed potato and seasonings). Tried some frozen meat already but it actually made me gag and vomit trying to swallow it after cooking coz the texture is totally different with meat that was pre-frozen/defrosted.

I switched to frozen chicken, since chicken is the way out. But gas prices, it's just hell on earth.Check frozen meats... price is usually a bit better than fresh.

Around d here all frozen fish is Chinese farm fish, definitely don't want to eat that on the regularIt's all nasty compared to fresh bro (white fish not too bad when mixed in with mashed potato and seasonings). And what kind of activity do you have and your own weight. To understand the level of deficit and surplus.I do the 3 shakes a day and 3 meals thing myself but for convenience and I didn't take care of my teeth as well when I was younger so eating alot of meat every day wears on them even harder. But I still get around 220 to 300g of protein a day 400 to 550g carbs and 100g or less of fat
