The obsession with being shredded/vascular/dieting ???

I eat 3k as well

For me its go to work, then eat meal 1 after

200mg egg whites with pickles and mushrooms made into a huge omelette. Then some hash browns (sliced potatoes no fat) mixed with 1.5 cup of sauerkraut and some very low calorie ketchup. Then 2 apples

total 800-900 calories

thats usually 800 calories, relax bit hit the gym by 6.

Get in a nice long intense workout and cardio if needed, then hell its 8:30

Then comes post workout...10 oz turkey cooked with 150g spring mix and some low calorie sauce,,then a bunch of apples or the hash browns meal again, maybe a few tomatos

That usually has me at 1600 and its almost 10

So the days almost over now I got 1400 more calories I can eat in a few hours, so I don't even feel like im dieting,

Light and fit greek yogurt mixed with rice cakes,,,egg white wraps,,,96 percent lean beef......cottage cheese mixed with almond milk (8oz) and 1.5 scoop of casein,,rice cakes crumbled on or maybe strawberries on top,,,mix and match some good food for the rest of the day

But protein is always about 350 and calories are no more than 3000

They key for me don't start eating until 4 lol. An energy drink in the am on the way to work (or coffee), and another before the gym, maybe nicotine gum during the day, im at work so not really hungry.
I do something very similar as I work nights shift so I stop eating at 2am or so then go home sleep u til usually 1 or 2, wake up and do my cardio shower up etc... than eat trying to eat on 12/12 or 14/10 fasting/eating if I can

Nice, im usually able to cram my eating into 6 hours, thats whats worked best for me. 3-4 larger meals has me more satisfied than 5 or 6 smaller

So, now we're seeing this as a problem? When in reality ~80% of people struggle to hold 15-16% body fat and are 18-20% or more.

The problem is obsession with food and fear of losing something. A lot of you are emotionally attached to food and it's understandable, it's your comfort zone after all. Why hate on people that want to be very lean and can do it? Because only 5% can actually do it. It takes quite a lot to get and stay there.

What are you advocating, people permabulk and stay in the 14-15% range year round so...they can eat more? I love to eat, but part of looking good is not eating shit and having muffin top. Plus having a low body fat is healthier and you can have muscle but not be so huge your killing yourself slowly.
Not eating shit and staying active during the day is the key to looking good and not having a lot of fat. Nothing difficult, but for many it is a problem. The cult of eating high-calorie foods outweighs the desire to look different.

Agree. Anyone who spends 7+ hours a week of their life in the gym you'd think would be in single digits most of the year, otherwise whats the point? Unless they are bored or are just a powerlifter and don't care to look respectable.

What is the question? I didn’t really understand the essence of the question, sorry, I’m not much old and very dumb :)

I will not get fat for a while, because of this.

When you eat fastfood all day and candy and snacks and ait on the couch weeks on end is how it happens.

Going on walk, hikes, lifting and eating clean and healthy, pretty much impossible to get fat.

Im asking what is the point in having muscle unless your lean? Having alot of muscle covered in flab isn't impressive. Powerlifters are one thing but they don't AIM to look good

Being obese most of my life I'm happy if I'm in the 20-25% range. Anything lower is too hard to maintain and the loose skin becomes painful. My ideal physique would be strongmen/ powerlifter type even though I don't have the genetic these are the guys that fascinates me the most in the industry. But to each their own as long as you're healthy (or healthier) and goal oriented who cares.

What are you talking about... single digit...

Most people think 15% is 10%. So yeah your single digits are probably 13-14% in reality.

Real 15% is beach body lean, end of discussion.

Now I understand, I agree it is not very logical. But often such people justify that they have a phase of masanabora, of course, it's funny how they hide behind this.

Beach body lean for a woman maybe. A man walking around at 15% with his shirt off? The skinny guys and cut guys will probably be calling him Mr. Moobs lol.

Well, then you're telling me that I'm fat at 14%? I'm leaner than at least 90% of ppl.

I mean, if we include all the obese people (half of the popuatlion) I guess your leaner? My 5ft 7 brother is taller than 100% of midgets but that does't mean he's tall? If your cool being 14% more power to you, you probably don't even need to count calories and can eat whatever which is nice.

Point is what most think is 10% actually is 14-15%. If you think 15% is not lean then you probably don't know what you're talking about in the first place.

Regardless of what people think, if you think 15% is lean, you have low standards. You take steroids and count calories to be 15%?

If your 15% and consider yourself lean more power to you. A person at 20% can claim they are lean too because lean is a subjective term just like fat. Rosie Odonell can say she's skinny no one can really prove her wrong.
