Source wants me to ship a product back?

The other option was to make a film destroying it :) anything but keeping both product and money, that is all. I don't want to have the feeling of being taking for a foul that is all!
OK @flasspass123 why didnt you just send him a video of you destroying the product? That seems reasonable me...just hit the vial with a hammer and video it. What is the problem?

I wouldn't be down wit shipping something back, even domestic. Personally. I was going right ask why can't you sent him a video of you destroying it but then saw his post right there saying that is any option. I say do that and stop the whining lol. Just get it over with and you can get your new product!
 
I’ve fucking had it with sources trying to reframe customers bringing issues to light as “outing them” or “going public”. Transparency of sources and their dealings is a good thing, and falls under harm reduction. Any source that tries to keep their questionable behavior from being known doesn’t belong on this board imo.

This was just recently suggested by another user in his thread. He did not initially suggest this option, but I can send a video no problem.

Absolutely agree with you! I posted the issue myself in my thread before this thread appeared.
I have no problem being transparent, of course as long as privacy is kept regarding personal data.
 
I would absolutely NEVER ship anything to anyone. I can’t believe this source would even suggest that…

In the past when other sources have shipped me the wrong or damaged order I simply send them a pic and they re-ship it no questions asked. Why should it be a policy you even need to film yourself destroying it? The source fucked up the order they should take the loss no matter the circumstances.

I’ll avoid any source that suggest I get involved in their vending by shipping shit to random people for them. Totally unacceptable
 
Agreed, but again I see both sides. I'm willing to bet there's many more unscrupulous customers than there are vendors. Here in the US there's the whole "Customer is always right" motto, honestly I say fuck that. And it's certainly not the motto everywhere. Vendor from the beginning said he'd reship, he just didn't want to feel like he's being taken advantage of. It's just my opinion that counts for absolutely nothing, and I'm not saying the OP was trying to take advantage, but show proof of either inferior product quality or it being destroyed due to suspicion of bad shipping protocol. That's fair to all. We're not buying apricots from our local grocery.

I’d certainly feel taken advantage of as a customer if a source wanted me to risk jail time by mailing prescription drugs to random ass people. I’d also feel taken advantage of if I paid for one thing and received an inadequate product that I cannot use. A simple picture should have had this all wrapped up in 5 minutes without suggesting the customer insert himself into the vendors business by shipping things to people. It’s also bad opsec to be providing customers with addresses to ship things.
 
Anyway... Refund was done. I did my part. Lets see now :)
It wasn't about the money. Its about the principle. I have over 9 years of sourcing here without issues. You think I am fucking myself in the ass for 100 dollars? Its just I dont like when someone tries to take advantage of my good nature. That is all!!

So you either refund him or come through on your promise. What he does with the product shipped without ice is none of your business. It's your fuck up. He doesn't have to do anything to hold you accountable to fix your fuck up.

How long does an ice pack last, anyway? You said it was an international source, and I've had chocolate shipped to me domestically, two days later the dry ice in the insulated box had evaporated and I was left with a lump of molten chocolate.

Just name the source man. If you have nothing to lose, why keep this messed up situation to yourself. Better that the community here know the standards of a source they're buying from.

What a salty loser both you and the source are. And don't worry, I'd never order from an idiot source that uses the word "honour" and then can't even keep his own word. Irony at its finest.

Maybe he'll give u a 5% discount for being the only person to defend his dumbass tho ;)
