Twitter employee confirms censorship of the right...

Censorship is some kind of crap, everyone has the right to express their point of view, if it is not direct insults.

Well it depends. The Taliban is on Twitter lol. And people on the left call out for genocide pretty regularly and it gets a pass.

My only problem with this type of stuff is that it only reaffirms what half of the population already knows to be true, and the other half will still deny or use mental gymnastics to say how it's not real or it doesn't matter. Even with this absolute proof, many people will still deny the censorship.

Everyone has already made up their minds on everything, and you are either controlled by some ratio of your logic:emotions or controlled strictly by your emotions.

However, if this thread convinces even one person of the truth, then this thread is worth creating.

I completely agree other than direct insults are free speech too. I think the cray cray need to be heard as unpleasant as that may be to some. People need to understand what they are up against. That is the true threat.

This ^

Paul is dead right here.

If your ideas are such shit ideas that they can't stand up to scrutiny or criticism, then they weren't shit to begin with.

Not everyone is going to agree. But if you have to forcibly shut people down to make your point carry weight....then it don't, and it ain't going to

I personally think most of social media websites need to go bankrupt and hit the road. I'd love to see massive layoffs in the tech sector, actually I'd want to see the entire industry collapse and these people forced to give blow jobs on street corners.

That said freedom of speech when it comes to things like what the government wants to inject in me has to be 100% absolute. What we saw over the past few years was a crack down on anyone that said anything negative about our vaxx overlords that pumped billions into the pockets of big tech and legacy media.

If you want freedom of speech we're gonna have to dump all these tech companies that are in the hands of a very small group of people that don't have any shared interest with the average American, these scumbags work overtime to twist narratives to suit their agendas instead of allowing us to use their platforms to create agendas that suit us.

Ain't nobody going to give the working class people any respect.

We have to take it

The internet has become what the TV was growing up in the 80's.

It is being sanitized and washed of any content based on what advertisers want.

During the 80's you had to go underground, send off for a VHS, cassette tape, magazine, newspaper, zine, book if you wanted to consume content that was controversial. The internet comes along and it's like the wild west, you could chat and exchange ideas that were a whole new world and that was great leading up into the early 2000's and really until about 5 years ago censorship wasn't that bad, but now it has moved full circle and we're back to the 6 o'clock news during the 80's where you never get exposed to any truth. And not only that we have all these foreigners that have piled into big tech that want to ram their views down our throat and their views are pure shit, we're Americans we're supposed to be outspoken, not silenced walking on eggshells.

Not even printed material at your public library is getting by our censorship overlords. My local library was telling the other day there's a long list of books currently targeted by local politicians to be removed from the shelves. This to me is bizarre considering few if any people outside gen-x or older even read physical books.
