Preferred BTC purchase method

Most likely sent coin directly to a flagged address, and they don't give any warning when they ban you. Read Coinbase's TOS. CashApp does the same now, so just don't use CashApp or Coinbase wallet to pay sources directly, but send to your external wallet (blockchain.com for example) first then pay your favorite source.
Is there a list somewhere of these flagged vendors? Obviously not the crypto address but of the vendors themselves who have had their addresses flagged?

I've looked around with little success

I have always use the ATM’s, I mask up do transactions under $900 and use a burner phone with my coin wallet loaded on it.
You might want to keep the transactions under $600 due to new tax law changes and larger transactions might be reported to IRS by the ATM vendor (which acts like an exchange).

I live 20 feet away from a rocket coin ATM. Fees kinda suck but it's hella easy to use. I have a banking account with chime and they no longer allow the purchase of any crypto currency. So what I've done is created a Venmo account and get their debit card. I'll transfer funds to my Venmo account and use their debit card to purchase the crypto. Wish me luck.
But ya, the ATM is hella convenient. There's a big dip rn and I think I'm gonna get in on it. Don't got much at all, but we'll see
Chime allows the purchase of bitcoins did it today I always use it instead of my actual bank card…

Don't Blockchain need your info still. Any one tried a USB to hold there Bitcoin b4 it's a thought I been looking into it. it's a safer wat to store and use Bitcoin
i never tried what you mentioned but to get confirmation most need some details, I just mask my cash app so my send comes from blockchain, as cash app quick to close accts for certain activities
