FOR THE RECORD. I am not against donating plasma once per month. I think its a good thing to do for those in need. BUT...

As far as 2wice per week.. To answer the question. NO it will leave you feeling shitty for a long time. Takes about 4 hits in 2 weeks to realize what you did..

Don't believe anything pos you hear about plasma donation. THEY ARE FUKKING YOU. These cocksuckers pull an entire LITER these days. That's 1/3 the plasma in your body and even as high as 1/2 if you are badly dehydrated. I did this recently I know. Those last two rounds of reds would barely go back in. Basically its 5x's more unhealthy than a blood donation. THEY ARE PAYING YOU FOR A REASON.. They like to claim "all plasma is restored in 2 days". I'm calling bullshit. Even if you are healthy sure your blood volume will be up in a day just from the fluid/water restoration.

Consider plasma grabs everything except the ReDS. Thats a a lot. Its ..:
1) Blood proteins.(SHBG and ALBUMIN) Which carry all steroids, meds, and everything else. ( I DID say at least 1/3rd your plasma)
2) Blood enzymes. Required to metabolize all steroids. Deesterfy them. Convert them. BreAK Down medications. Complete normal bodily processses.
3) Hormones.
4) White cells. (they say these are replenished in days but... There a lot of kinds of "white cells"...) They say it does not get them or platlets but who knows. They make no mention of blood factors like ferritin and iron.. I bet those are gone..
5) Worst of all its getting your STEM CELLS. Any that are active. These are life limited. (that is enough reason in itself)
6) The list goes on I forget all the risk now.
7) And NO I dont believe that shit about them not taking white cells too.
8) And dont forget when it takes the "Protein" its getting all the special amino acids critical to LIFE. The ones spun off of the essential and non essential.

** Did I mention EVEN The DUMBASS Red Cross recommends not more than once a month. And these fukkers will get 2 liters a week.

** Not to mention many of the employess are completely incompetent. I lookd down one day and the bit had the pin BURYED IN MY ARM. I was like UH. How long you been here. - TWO MONTHS -/ GET YER MANAGER... (I actually had slight nerve tingling in fingers after that one and its a GOD's OWN miracle she did not hit an artery...

** In times of COVID when you need your body working right. And contemplating giving up 1/3 your mojo twice a week. I say thats a big no go... And outside my negative feelings at this moment consider if you are prone to and having any clot issues related to covid. Taking all the fluid out of your blood will not be conducive to successful mitigation of said clots.. They are basically slamming MUD back in ya. And by the 7th pull its molasses for sure..

I weighed the pros and cons. even told myself that perhaps by removing plasma it my spur my body on to replace it faster with newer and better. And get old nasty shit out of there. I just dont know if there is a theraputic effect for the donor.

At 50years old. 2wice a week nearly killed me in just two weeks. then even three more sessions over 3 more weeks was dramatic.. Consider if they are paying you. they are paying you 1/10th what its really worth. They are just bleeding out the poor... Might as well just kidnap you and put you in stasis to generate product..

And when ET stops in to the intergalactic 7/11 called EARTH. Believe me the Plasma is not on Fountain tap with all the whole bloods for "99 cents"... Its in specialty bottles over there with the BANGs and gets a premium... That's GREY FOOD. They leave the whole blood to the REPTILES... LOL

Maybe you're just not very healthy. I don't I don't feel bad at all after donating I just make sure I'm good and hydrated and had lots of protein throughout the day and it's no big deal. It literally doesn't affect me at all hardly

Are you sure you're on about plasma donation and not just normal blood donation? As the 2 of these are different,as it doesn't go straight into the bag but through a machine to separate different parts of the blood

I donate plasma for money and blood for free. Neither make me feel bad. If anything I feel weaker after a whole blood donation vs plasma.

No I should not be so down on it people need it. But, I'm in shitty cardio shape. I'm 50, I'm 300lbs, I eat fried chicken and barbQ a lot, and I literally live in a constant state of dehydration from casual beer.

I donated when I was 30 or so and yes it went smooth... Yes I am talking about plasma. My blood gets so fukkin thick by the last two bolts going back into me that I sometimes wonder if I might clot up and die right there. I can just feel that shit running round my body life SLUDGE for the first 12 hours post donation..

Just not worth the risk to me.

There is also the matter of scarring created by getting that 17ga. pin 2wice a week. That's no joke long term. I wonder how many heavy donors just start spinning off clotting factors all day long from that tore up arm down the road..

Perhaps it would not have gone so bad if I had my hemoglobin down closer to 13, but I run better at 17... I thought about taking a baby aspirin a couple times a week but that shit stops clotting factors for like 7 days on a full aspirin. Just not worth it for me..

Then there is always the matter of that last line of blood on each cycle that never gets to the machine and just sits there clotting up in the line while its cyphering to switch flow direction.

Then there's that last caveat the idiots working there and the potential for mechanical error. If you read the fine print it says something like if you hear air gurgling from your arm call the tech. The tech that is not there. LOL

But at the OP and to answer the question - YES it will effect your workout. You just gave up at least 35% of your circulating hormones and blood protein.. If you want to do it go for it. Wont hurt to try. You might like it. time is the big factor as even if you walk in at 7am, you wont leave before 9am...

Sorry I think you may be right now. I went in for my 3rd donation and they called me into the back.Said my albumin was low at 2.8 and I couldn't donate. This came back from an analysis of my plasma but before that they let me donate cause the finger stick said my total protein was ok. Never in my last 10 labs have I ever had low albumin. Im guessing its from donating plasma twice in four days. Now I gotta wait for another blood test they took today to see if I can donate again.

I owe you an apology. After reading this again and after what happened on my attempted 3rd plasma donation.....you are right. Lol think if I do it again and will only be once a month if I can get my albumin back up to normal.

Well before you make any firm decisions I would consider how often you donate whole blood. If yer going weekly or even every two weeks long term, this will account for this. Consider if they get 0.5 Liters of blood (standard)on a "blood dontation" that 55% of it is plasma. So you give up a plasma donation in every 4 whole blood donations, on top of what you have now added in.. If you stack that in with plasma donations you are giving up a shit ton. It adds up. More importantly, if you have been donating whole blood with regularity and intervals less than 2 weeks, you are already taxing yourself.

More importantly, what should concern you is that all these FACTORS in your blood. The ferritin and iron that manufacture RBC's. The white blood cells in Whole blood donations. The potential things like Stem cells and GH given up to both. It can start to add up...

What is most important about all this is that when it gets out of whack, it don't work right no more. And they don't all replenish at the same rate. The blood shops have a group of blood thirsty vampires in the back that will tell you that you are good all he way down to hemoglobin of 13 for male. The plasma Mongols as will drain the life essence from your body with a straight face. And the shit that cant be replaced once you hit a certain age... ARE YOU DEPLEATING A LIFE LIMITED RESOURCE??

There is a reason there are set STANDARDS. Like 8 weeks for whole blood and 4 weeks for Plasma. And I dont think that considers if you are doing both...

Personally I dont think there is really a need for any whole blood donation closer than 8 weeks. Even on high steroid diets. OBVIOUSLY your body gets rid of the excess or some folks would be dead.. Maybe those are the ones that stroke who knows... I never had issues with Hemoglobin at 20. My uro simply made me do it for technicality in his prescribing protocol mandated by GOD knows who. And sure, once you get older, and especially if you smoke cigs ot something insane like that, Sooner or later your blood vessels are going to get abraded and trigger all that clotting factor.

I would say a safe play would be one blood donation every 4 weeks (if juiced) and once plasma donation every 4 weeks. Younger who cares. The question is what will happen when you get olders. They just dont care. And they tell you not to do it too much. Like I said those guys in there giving up plasma twice a week are just statistics... I'll wager no longevity theorist would condone it...

Lastly I want to point out that whoever said blood donations were way more draining or worse. Yes, Do one of those 6 weeks in a row and you wont be right for MONTHS... If not a year.

And on plasma. Just donate once a month and put in if a 401k. Thats a no brainer if you are going to do it at all. Remember these are private companies and will take as much from you as the law will allow. I honestly do not see myself now doing it more than once a month once I stabilize a bit more... the Key is not taking the bait and going more often..

Yeah my hematocrit stays at about 52 when I do a light cycle so I do donate whole blood. I donated almost 60 days ago. I also did a power red almost 60 days ago. So I'm already doing something not recommended because I went to two different blood banks LOL and then on top of the plasma. I will probably stop the plasma to where I only go once a month or something and honestly I would probably quit soon after the pay runs out ...because they don't pay very well after your new donor payments go through.

Yea but the double reds should get reds only and leave the plasma for 1/2 the donation I think is the point. So.. Hmmm..

Well they told me once the 10 payments of 125 runs out you have to sit on the fence for the next 6 months before seeing what the new deal is. Or take the cheap pay which is ABSURDLY LOW. I never got far enough to see if I could just stroll down to the next clinic and start up right away on whatever deal they were running - which was my plan. We have gone from one donor station in our area to like 5 recently. The last three popped up in the last few years. So tell me they are not feeding greys with that shit.. I think the deal reads like this - "Supply us with enough plasma slurpees and we will stop abducting them and poking straws in their heads.. " .. After all you just need a little sugar, flavor, and ice, and you got the best health shake in town..   LOL..
