It’s been about a month and some days that i been dealing with BHP like symptoms such as

Difficulty Urinating

Bladder still feeling full after Urinating

Waking up at least 5 times because i feel the need to pee but can only release a small amount

Retrograde Ejaculation, Low Sperm Vol, Thick and Watery Semen and the list keeps going. After speaking to an Urgent Care MD and giving my urine sample he claimed i just had mild case of UTI and was treated with Antibiotics. I felt like dogshit on the Antibiotics and after the 7 day treatment the frequent need to urinate did not go away i finally got the Urine Culture results and no bacteria was detected, I then went to the ER and explained my problem did another urine culture sample and no bacteria was detected, I also did CBC blood work and PSA(Total and Free) and everything seem to be in range.

My PCP finally came back from vacation and i explained the issue he’s now scheduling me for an ultrasound. Currently on my regular TRT dose Test C 150mg a week and .25 of Adex. How likely is it for me to possibly have an enlarged prostate? It’s not like i was toying around with other compounds that can potentially mess with the prostate.

Any opinions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what could be going on but please keep this thread updated as you find out more.

You don't take anything like finasteride or NSAID's etc do you? Solid fluid intake throughout the day?

Yeah i’ll keep this thread updated, i also forgot to mention that both culture urine samples came back negative for STI’s and STD.

No finasteride and for NSAID’s i take Naproxen dosed at 500mg. I drink 2 gallons of water daily, Don’t drink any juices or sodas, I drink 2 cups of black coffee daily.

Made an appointment with the urologist after getting the referral from my PCP, Ultrasound hasn’t been scheduled as of yet. The problem now is that i won’t be able to get seen by the urologist until the 17th of next month which is bizzare.

I really want to toy with the idea of possibly taking Cialis at a low dose to see if temporarily treats this issue until i get everything situated and get a 100% confirmation that it’s BPH.

If this is the case which i hope it isn’t it’ll be bummer because i wanted to do a Test C/Mast E blast lol

Hey @Kurosawa, any update on this?

I have mild prostate issues and am going to start TRT. Did you manage to get your issues resolved?
Hey bro,

After seeing my urologist on late August he had told me that it’s definitely not an inflamed prostate i was just dealing with overreactive bladder and was given antibiotic for it. Before i went to see the urologist i went and got a ultra sound and was told that my Kidneys, Bladder, Prostate were good, Before you jump into any conclusions i recommend you make an appointment with a Urologist they can give you a better answer on whats going on going.

Good luck bro!

Thanks for the update bro. BTW I reviewed the literature on this and most studies claim that if you're hypogonadal, TRT has no impact on prostate. In fact, in some cases it helps BPH.

Good luck with your health :)

I don't have any idea why you are taking an AI. There is no way that your TRT dosage merits this. Even at high BMI, if you have it, this is what it is SUPPOSED to be. I'm pretty obese and I can't handle the slightest amount of ADEX without feeling shitty from veins to joints. Its my personal belief that our estrogen MUST stay in natural balance with our androgen metabolism - ELSE THINGS WILL GET OUT OF WHACK... And that's a bigger statement than is appears as... Changing these balances does "mess with the prostate"...

Predominantly, my crystal ball would just tell me you are simply about 37 years old now. But drop the AI. No one needs E2 numbers down around 15-20 to be "Healthy". Don't swallow that line of horseshit as WE ARE TALKING A MATTER OF PICOGRAMS...!!!!! Estrogen is GOOD for healthy muscle and other. Estrogen SHOULD go up with increased Androgen metabolism as a natural balancing act. Its just the way of the party.. When you step on estrogen factors on a long term basis you start to interfere with the long term predominating population of receptor activity at local tissue... I.E. - The Prostate.

It should be noted that while I feel that estrogen is indeed the Devil. The whole point of TRT is to provide additional testosterone to create the androgens necc to balance this reverse feedback couch demon. You are on a reasonable amount of TRT. So unless you are fat as a cow and doing TRT just because you believe its going to change the way the twinkees sit in your stomach on the couch, OR you are skinny as a rake and have super high E2. Drop the Adex. Anything under 40-50 is fine... You could also try lowering your TRT to 100mgs if you are not doing shit. Your body will make the rest. 100-125mgs is perfect TRT unless you are busing ass in the gym. Just lie and tell em you are taking it if they are hell bent on killing yer ass.

Finally remember that with all the testosterone prescribing as of late, it has become some unclear mission to dot the I's and cross the T's in an effort to present they are not making anything out of range in the practice of HRT. there's a lot of eyes on them these days and they are dancing the lunatic lambada. When after all, they dont know shit about hormones because how could they when it was demonized up till 10 years ago..

And just because a prostate is NOT inflamed does NOT mean that it is not malfunctioning.

I appreciate your comment but this issue was resolved by my urologist in the summer.
